NFL Discussion (Week 12) Common Sense 1 - T.O. 0

Post by bdoughty »

Arbitrator Richard Bloch wrote that the Eagles clearly proved that the suspension was justified, and were within their right to pay their All-Pro receiver but not allow him to return "due to the nature of his conduct and its destructive and continuing threat to the team."
I am sure WCObot is wildly churning out data in an effort to come to the defense of T.O. with some fancy conspiracy theories.

TO gets no love this Thanksgiving. :(

So is everyone going to watch the two games or is the willpower to turn off the Xbox 360 for an afternoon lacking? ;)

Step 1 for T.O: Fire that d*****bag agent of his. Drew Rosenhaus is just as big of a jerk as T.O., possibly even more. Then at least part of the problem will be solved unless he replaces him with another d*****bag. Of course T.O. will likely remain the biggest dick in sports regardless of who his agent is. He could have Santa Claus as his agent and it may not make a bit of difference.

Watching the Lions two straight weeks is just painful. Almost feel bad for Jeff Garcia having to replace Harrington behind that O-Line.

Glad the money I gave Jerry is finally paying off. You have found the right thread for your picks. Unless you send me 5 bucks and your sisters naked picture, please stay the f*** outta our NFL picks threads.

The picks on the other thread are for people who have paid money to play and the winner gets the pot. Apparently the sticky with results and details is not enough of a clue to solve the puzzle. I guess $50 of the pot is going to have to go for a flashing banner ad at the top of the forum to explain it to the 7/10. It's bad enough to participate in something you have no clue about. To only make one pick makes me laugh even harder and haunts Darwin from beyond.

Jolly Good stuff Red. If you keep up the pace you might actually have 3 or 4 quality posts/threads by the time you reach 100.

Make that 200 posts and subject to change.

By the way have you tried the OS forums? I hear they are really good and you can make as many threads as you can type in a day. It is all sugar, spice and everything nice. Plus you don't have to worry about big meanies like myself or DB. Just imagine a world without the thread police.

Man it sounds great.

I can't decide if Houston or Detroit has the worst offensive line in the league. Atlanta's D-Line looked like Black Friday shoppers bursting through a Best Buy door at 5 a.m.

They really need to get rid of the Dallas/Detroit Thanksgiving tradition and just rotate the teams. The Lions have had no business being on national TV since Barry Sanders retired. That early game was awful, with the goofy Detroit TD being the only remotely interesting thing at the end.

I also am officially done underestimating the Broncos. Any team that rejuvinates Ron Dayne and Jake Plummer in the same season deserves respect. Although Plummer should have kept the Ron Jeremy mustache for the whole season.

I don't know about rotating the teams but they do need add another team than Detroit. I have no problem with Dallas since its you can root against them.

Detroit has to go along with their coach and GM. Any team that can rebuild with the amount of picks they had needs to be punished. Even the Bengals have turned around their team.

A couple things of note.

Nice to see the slow downfall of New England and pretty much any team out of the Boston area.

KC up 19 to 3 at the half

and

Houston 24 St Louis 3 at the half

Wow it is bad to only score 3 points to the Texans D in one half. To give up 24 points in one half to one of the worst offenses I have seen in along time makes you....

:?: That is so incoherent I can't even figure out that you are trying to convey. When you get those automated phone systems do you press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish?

Can you not root against any team in the NFL? Is it only limited to Dallas?

Anway it needs to stay Detroit and Dallas and keep the tradition moving along. Though I prefer when the games are played against team in their division.

That sick feeling has returned . . .

This Redskins team really stinks. No matter what happens out there, they find a way to lose. All the turnovers you could ask for in the 4th quarter, but the offense goes 3 and out 4 out of 5 times in the 4th quarter, the last of which was after a pick that put them in field goal range, but they went backwards and missed the 53 yarder. I think they got one first down in the fourth quarter.

Ugh. I wish the Danny would sell the team to some one who knows wtf he is doing. This team needs to improve its players, and to do that they need a general manager. But no, the Danny doesn't want a general manager, he wants to hang out with his buddy Vinny.

It really pains me to watch the Giants miss three field goals to win it. OUCH. That is brutal.

Oh yeah...go Dolphins!

NYG-SEA what a game. Giants go for a two point conversion with just under 2 minutes to go, Shockey gets the tie 21-21. With 4 sec to go on regulation and while trailing most of the game NY goes for a field goal for the win, but Feely misses left. OT, Giants get another chance to win it with a 54 field goal, Jay Feely just falls short. RB Barber has a huge 40 yards run .Third time the charm you would think for Feely and the Giants? 45 yards for the win and......

He misses again. Seahawks' turn, 3 min to go into OT, RB Alexander does his stuff and Josh brown has a 37 FG for the win. Seahawks win. What a rollercoaster game. Go Hawks!

I predict Jay Feely will be cut monday morning.

What a choke job.

3 winning fg's misses in one game.

What's more incredible it's that he was lights out all year long.

Un-f***in-believale.

How 'bout the rise-and-fall-and-rise of Samkon Gado! I'm rooting for the guy...he just needs to make sure he holds on to the football (as does the GB Special Teams).

True enough. I had GB winning in my pick this week because of him. He sure is a joy to watch.
