The Warriors game is pretty fun. R* managed to combine a couple of poor to sucky games (SoE and Manhunt) to come out with a winner.

I can't believe there's 252,000 people that don't own a PS2 yet. Of course, my local EB manager tells me that the reason why they sell so many PS2s is because a lot of people are on their second or third one because of drive failure.

Wouldn't surprise me if PS2 doesn't outsell the 360 in the month of November.

I've been waiting on the PS2 price drop to replace ours. The continued strong sales make the Nov cut pretty unlikely. It's looking like a $150 Xmas gift for my son.

Q: Has there ever been a month w/out a Pokemon title in the top 25?

Probably a couple million. That's why I wonder how you can trust Sony's figures. I find it almost impossible to believe that they are still selling this many units of a 5 year old system.

But these aren't Sony's numbers. I'm sure they shipped more than 250,000 units in October to fully stock retailers for the Holiday season.

Now, the # of PSPs shipped released by Sony, that doesn't mean sh*t. It seems like every Target I go to has about 20 units. Not sure about Wal*Mart, but if they have a similar number/store, that's a hell of a lot more units.

I'm very interested to see the PSP systems from the NPD report to get a direct comparison to the DS.

Surprising to see so many Gamecubes sold last month.

These are not Sony's numbers. They are actual sales at stores, not product shipped by Sony.

I'd bet most of those 3,511,000 people have absolutely no plans to buy an XBox 360 this year or next. One thing is for sure, I remember the PSOne having similar (read: surprising) sales back when the Dreamcast was being released. As history shows, those people became PS2 owners somewhere down the road.
