DaveT, I need to know about Nicky Weaver
Since it seem that City have just loaned him to us and he's starting tomorrow. How do you rate him if at all?

Of course, BD, there is more chance of me noticing this than the '1 new message' marker at the top - plus, you could always have just ignored this thread, since it obviously wasn't directed towards you, and I doubt that you would have much to offer on the subject.
As Chris mentioned, Nicky Weaver was pretty much ever present in the 98-99 season. In total he has played 156 games for City, but a series of serious knee injuries almost ended his career...he has had a number of ops, including a complete ligament replacement.
Good keeper, just really unlucky with injuries, and he got a bit bigheaded at one point. Only played one game since the end of 2002.

"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."
Well since the programmers went out of their way to add it I just figured what the heck. It's not like we have each others work/internet schedules. Why you could be on vacation and his question never gets answered. He could completely forget about it and his thirst for Nicky Weaver knowledge would never get quenched. Yet through the greateness and glory that is a "Private Message" you will see it, no matter when you log on. If you have a question for one person it is simply forum etiquette to take it to PM. Had the question been addressed to the group I would have never uttered a word. I thought you blokes were big on etiquette and the like.
I tend to deal with the obvious and on occasion it offends some people. Oh well.
7/10 - a worldwide sensation.

Nothing has changed around here. I have always been this way. DB has always been this way. WCO has always been made out of silicon. PK is console monogomus and can argue with a fence post. Jrod is a hardass on everything but sentence structure. etc etcPadresFan104 wrote:Geez...
When I started posting here it was a pretty inviting atmosphere. Now a day doesn't go by when someone is called out for creating a new thread or some such petty crap.
Al
It could be you are just imagining things. Or trying to make things out to be worse then they are. Jared always finds a way to keep us ont he straight and narrow.
Oh and geez...
BD and DB need to learn how to ignore posts. If you aren't interested in it don't post. We don't need forum moderators over here as everything is pretty civil. PK and Jared step in usually when "the line has been crossed".
But DB for some reason has been on a kick to make people lookup posts from 13 pages ago. And BD has now taken over the role. Just ignore the threads from now on.
In fact, I read this post just for DaveT's info on the matter. So I'm glad this wasn't a private message.

Every single time I mention that a thread has already been started on the subject, it's on the first page. I can kind of understand if it's been bumped to the 2nd, but if the same sh*t is only two f*cking threads down from your groundbreaking thread...it's annoying. Go to OS if you want to see redundant threads...all of which get locked anyway. There is a reason for that.JRod wrote:But DB for some reason has been on a kick to make people lookup posts from 13 pages ago. And BD has now taken over the role. Just ignore the threads from now on.

Funny but you must have missed the thread where Jared gave the ok for DB to do exactly what you want stopped.
Mmm ..... Delicious irony if you click me.
