Using proxy servers to post is one of the lamest ways to post on the forum (though this time, you were creative and chose a Saudi Arabian proxy...I'm sure there are boatloads of BC fans over there). It takes about 3 minutes to find out, and then you are banned again. It's truly pathetic that you have to keep coming back here when you're banned. Please, start your own site if you want the attention this badly. Otherwise, your ban is still a lifetime ban. Please don't waste your time making fake e-mail addresses and finding proxy servers, because you will be caught at some point (as you have been the last four times).

I was at the Big House today. Even though they lost, still had a great time. It is a great place to take in the college football experience. Very classy fans.XXXIV wrote:That Brown Jug scene was cool...With the Gophers running across the field to get it.
Grats To Minnesota!
The only thing that really makes you wonder is that with 111,000 fans, it is not very loud. Even after Breaston ran the kickoff back for a touchdown, it just didn't seem like the place was rockin'.

I'll take "Penis Mightier" for $200, Alex.Trebek6 wrote:Ummmmmm............I have no clue what half of you are talking about. Sorry I came here.
They mentioned something about that on the broadcast today. That was surprising to me as well, hard to believe there are 111,000 fans there and people wouldn't think it was loud. Must be the acoustics. The only thing that really makes you wonder is that with 111,000 fans, it is not very loud. Didn't get a chance to see the end of the game, but I can't believe the Gophers gutted out a win at the Big House. They'd collapsed the last couple years against Michigan and, after last week, gave everyone around here no reason to believe.
But hey, what about those Indiana Hoosiers!?!

What a great freakin' game. I am so fired up right now! There is *so* much football to be played, but it's nice to see Penn State back in the Big Ten hunt. It's amazing what a group of freshman receivers, some experience, and confidence can do for a team. Except for those freshman and a DB returning from injury, this is essentially the same team that couldn't do squat last year.Inuyasha wrote:Looks like Penn State's for real. I thought OSU would just kill them today but PSU played their kind of game and won.
What a great game to watch if you like linebacker play. However, I really thought PSU's defensive line was the difference. Hali was amazing in the 4th quarter. JoePA said a couple weeks ago that he thought Penn State had the best defensive line in the country and a lot of people chuckled. I'm not sure they are the best, but they sure played outstanding football tonight.
Yeah I saw it. They threw the wrong guy out of the game. Refs blew that call big time! VA scored on that drive. BC got fired up and made it a better game to watch.
I can't say I was happy to see BC win because I hate anything Boston due to an asshole that is on a lifetime ban from here. No offense, unless your him.

All I can say at this point in the season is that the polls still suck and the bowl system really sucks.
Case in point is my favorite team - FSU. They have a great defense that will keep them in any ballgame, but does anyone really think that they are one of the top 5 teams in the nation? But aside from some injuries, they have been very lucky. They got past the best team on their schedule and got past BC and can afford to slowly develop their QB from week to week.
It will be interesting to see Miami and Virginia Tech later this year. I am not sold on VT yet and am not sure what to think about Miami. It just sets up as a very good game.
As for the BCS, it is setting up 'perfectly' for Penn St. Paterno must have the record for most undefeated seasons without a championship. It would suck if they ran the table and were left out again.
I see 2 possible scenarios for next week's Notre Dame - USC game. ND plays inspired, ghosts from the past come calling and we have an upset (in other words USC beats itself) or USC plays an inspired and complete game and smokes them.

Just wanted to make sure I was not being biased towards BC in the way I saw that play.JackDog wrote:Yeah I saw it. They threw the wrong guy out of the game. Refs blew that call big time! VA scored on that drive. BC got fired up and made it a better game to watch.

Paterno has gone undefeated 4 times and not won a championship, however, winning a championship with one loss in 1982 partially makes up for it.kevinpars wrote:As for the BCS, it is setting up 'perfectly' for Penn St. Paterno must have the record for most undefeated seasons without a championship. Getting to 6-0 used to be money at Penn State in the Paterno era. The first 9 times they did it they finished in the AP top 5 and made it all the way through undefeated 5 times. However, in 1997 and 1999 they had collapses and ended up with 3 losses.
It will be extremely tough for Penn State to make it out of the state of Michigan this year without at least one loss and Wisconsin has given PSU fits in Happy Valley. However, the team is improving each week and gaining more confidence so anything is possible. They will be hurt greatly in the polls and in the BCS by their cupcake schedule. That's a shame because I believe they were scheduled to be at Alabama this year, but they cancelled that game at the request of Alabama a few years ago.
You will hear a lot of people jumping back on the Joe Paterno bandwagon. I think the local criticism of him was warranted (at one point they had three people calling offensive plays...I'm not kidding), but I will give Paterno all the credit in the world for making slight changes and keeping his head up. He was the only one that believed in these kids and they absolutely love him for it. I know it sounds pretty minor, but even things like letting the star freshman talk to the media (and even start from day one...*gasp*) and allowing the players to show emotion and swagger have helped morale and team chemistry.
If you are looking for UT pics go here, the gallery is on flash but they have some pics and wallpapers from the game.AtXj wrote:bdoughty, where do you get your college football pics from?
I can get a handull from FoxSports.com but most sites I try are Flash player now and I can't save the pics in the those slideshows.

The Sooner Sports site will have some up (non flash) next week. I doubt they will be in a rush.
