Let the smacktalk begin. The game is here and the gloves can come off. Already see Ajax running around with the new avatar. It's on like Donkey Kong... Avatar bets need to be made.

oops I really did think it was Ajax, sorry about that.

Since OU is the OVERWHELMING underdog (currently at 14 points) with an injured Peterson I say..

If OU wins you have to sport a OU avatar of my choice until next years game.

If Texas wins I will sport a UT avatar of your choice until Texas loses a game. If they go undefeated I will keep it until they lose a game next year.

Fair enough.

You're on.

Also, what is Adrian's status? I only saw the injury on Sportscenter but I haven't seen anything since.

The injury was was all a ploy to confuse Mack Brown as he prepares the team. Or was it?

I have faith in Chizik and his ability to ready the troops.

Would you like to go for Adrian not reaching the century mark?

What do we have left to bet on, our first born?

If he is healthy I think he will get 100. If he does not get 100 I can always blame it on the injury against KSU. ;)

What would drive a Longhorn fan from Austin to want to attend OU?

Yea I have hear horror stories about holding classes in seperate buildings and watching the professor on a TV due to class size issues.

Texas Tech will take anyone with a pulse.

They made an exception for Leach. I think he's in a state-induced coma or something.

AtXj, being a "normal" person at UT is a minority these days. Bank on that.

Now now don't get upset just beause Tech beat Kansas, pretty soundly I might add. Would have hit 50 if their offense was clicking but some credit goes to the Kansas D. Of course Techs defense was the star of the game. They held the Kansas offense in check.

Nope. Not upset here. KU's O needs work and it showed. Playing 3 QBs isn't good, either. Our D is pretty good, maybe the best in the B12 north.

I've always found Leach to be a strange bird, with his media policies and his look on the sidelines like someone just shot his dog.

KU did beat the spread, so that's something.

He has always looked and been that way. He can be funny on occasion during his coaches shows. He just marches to the beat of his own drummer. One thing is for sure, his system works pretty darn good. Now with the defense getting better people have to focus on both on more then stopping that pass happy offense.

I looked at the UT-OU scores for the last 40 years and this jumped out at me: since 1965, UT has beaten OU by more than 10 points TWICE. In forty years. So if I was a betting man, I'd take OU and the points.

And Mike Leach is one of the funniest damn coaches I've ever seen. He's like the Steven Wright of college football. Not to mention that he runs the superfreak offense, which is a blast to watch.
