Xbox Live Beta -- I was selected!

Just when I thought Microsoft would skip over me for the beta, I received mail last night that I was selected. I ordered my Beta kit right away!
 
 YIPPEE!
 
 Ironically, my Yahoo! account saw the e-mail from Microsoft as spam and put it in my Bulk Mail folder. Normally I delete that folder without even looking, but the MS mail was one of seven pieces of bulk mail in my box last night, an unusually high number. So I checked -- good thing I did!
 
 I´ll post some first impressions of Xbox Live -- I know many already have -- when I get my beta kit up and running.
 
 I´m psyched!

 I´ll post my gamer tag as soon as I receive my kit via UPS. I received notice that I was selected last night and paid right away.
 
 How long does it normally take for the kit to arrive via UPS once you complete the order?

Great news PK! Definitely add me to your friends list too. Gamertag is MixDJ1. Once they give you access to the beta forums you need to hit the MotoGP forum. There is already a nice community of racers forming there and we are getting a league set up. Some guys to look for that are really helpful are Symtex and Shadowsim. There are many others but the list is too long to go into here.

 What kind of shipping did you pay for, and when exactly was it ordered? They should have sent you a tracking number.

 Yeah, MS sent me a UPS tracking number. The Xbox Live package is supposed to arrive today! Unfortunately, UPS always comes in the late afternoon around here, as I´m on the rural edge of the Syracuse suburbs.
 
 I bought an extra-long Ethernet cable over the weekend and hope to be online tonight! I´ll let you guys know what my tag is.
