Chavez is a center fielder who had two very strong years in 2017 and 2018 (130 and 138 OPS+), and while he dropped off a bit in 2019 (107 OPS+) he had a great final month (.981 OPS). He has a solid Contact rating of 6 and an excellent Power rating of 9, and has hit an average of 33 HRs each of the past three years. He can play all three outfield positions, and is one of the top slugging CF options in the league (#5 in Isolated Power).
He has one year and 4.65M left on his contract.
