 Method: Telephone poll of 1,020 adults 18 and over. The research was fielded July 16-20 by ICR/International Communications Research of Media, Pa.
 The results were weighted to represent the population by demographic factors such as age, sex, region and education.
 No more than one time in 20 should chance variations in the sample cause the results to vary by more than 2.6 to 4.4 percentage points from the answers that would be obtained if all Americans were polled.
 The margin of sampling error is larger for responses of subgroups, such as income categories or those in political parties. There are other sources of potential error in polls, including the wording and order of questions.
 The poll´s questions related to spectators sports and included the following question:
 “Here is a list of spectator sports you may recognize. I´d like to know your overall feelings toward each sport I read using one of these responses: The responses are love, like a lot, like a little, no opinion, dislike a little, dislike a lot or hate.”
 The sports on the list above are those cited as disliked a lot or hated, showing strong negative opinion.

What the hell is dogfighting anyway? Is that really considered a spectator sport? I assume it is illegal in the US as I believe bullfighting is as well.
 
 This study seems pretty bogus. How could all three pro golf tours make the list yet Pro Bowling, Pro Rodeo, Monster Truck Racing, and any form of horse racing/dog racing not even make the list?
 
 No ice skating? Please... Professional ice skating/dancing/whatever is by far my most HATED specatator sport by a landslide, and that goes for men and women. Any sport based on judging that is more corrupt than professional boxing does not deserve to be considered a sport, let alone an Olympic sport. It is a Las Vegas act.

 consider the popularity of wrestling...Ratings,Ticket sales,Merchandise,amount of organzations
 
 its doing just fine....especially when put up against some of the other things on that list
 
 Wrestlemania XX sold out madison square garden in under 5 minutes friday...
 
 hardly the sign of most hated sport....especially in the Mecca of sports entertainment of the USA
 
 someone may also take note The Great Ones ....NEW MOVIE The Rundown debuts at Number One this Weekend in the theaters
 
 Rock seems to have a bit of a following.....wonder where that came from
