Hell, yes! Just returned from EB. Bought CC, put $5 down on Forza and got a Forza demo!
I'll be there to nail some AI dicks in co-op at 10:30 p.m. (EDT). I can host.
Dig?
Take care,
PK

Good shooting last night, boys. That one map -- which we never came close to finishing -- is a b*tch! We need to tackle that one again soon.
Scoop, glad you made it a foursome later in the night. Thanks for joining Provo, Seminole and I.
Must admit, the "let's frag and blast each other" at the end of the night was a pretty goofy, fun release after a couple of hours of tense shooting in which we got our asses handed to us!
Mega fun, as always. This game kicks major ass in co-op online.
Let's shoot again soon!
Take care,
PK

That's all I've completed, too. The first map only.marino wrote:PK
How many of the co-op maps have you completed. The only one I have finished was the one we finished last Friday night.
Yeah, this game is a royal b*tch when you play Simulation, no radar. And I think most of us are Ghost Recon veterans, so it's not like we're clueless with these kinds of games. Very, very tough. But I'm loving every second of it.
And to think Scoop already is mentioning that we should reduce team respawns from 10 total to maybe two per guy or less. Damn, that would be brutal! I hope we can work up to that skill.
Let's shoot again soon.
Take care,
PK

That was a lot of fun yet again last night. This game might be the most fun I've had with co-op ever. That mission last night was tough. The damn press people we were protecting were morons. How's that for realism? I think the thing I like most about this game is the fact that you will be met with failure if you don't work as a team. Even last night there were moments where we didn't really work as a team and it showed. That first hallway we must have lost 5 of our 10 respawns alone. We weren't working as a team at the time and all went to hell. I think they really captured the teamwork aspect of this game and we need to start playing our roles in the game. Right now we have too many guys trying to do the same thing and we need to have specific roles as we go through. I can't wait until we are good enough to try and go through with little to no respawns.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

You're absolutely right, Scoop. I got a little too Rambo there at the end, and it became our undoing. I was wasting close to half of our team respawns myself later in the night. We definitely need to use the SAW gunner in more of a suppressive role instead of an offensive role, as the AI of the CPU dudes definitely ducks and runs when a SAW lays down some serious lead. That will allow snipers and riflemen to maneuver better and get into better position.
Regarding the press people, I think one of us needs to go down the fire escape with them and hit the street level while one or two of us offer cover from the windows of the second floor. Teamwork is needed -- yep, you're spot-on.
The sad -- but fun -- thing about last night's map is that we only got through the first damn level of that map in about 2 1/2 hours of play. I think each map has at least three levels, so we have a long way to go.
Looking forward to the next session! I fooking love this game in co-op online.
Take care,
PK

When we started out I HATED having that pig with me. After using it, and using it right, it is definitely an asset. I can't be charging around all over the place or taking out dude in little ass windows, but I can keep their ass on the ground while you sneak around and take them out. The more you work as a team, and the slower you go, the more fun it is.
I'm up for some more tonight? Anyone else?

Dude:
I'd love to play, but I need to work on the USGP Media Guide. The deadline is staring me down like your SAW at short range, and I spend most of the "regular" work day working on Indy 500 stuff.
I'll look on xbox.com tonight and see if you're on there playing. I might be tempted.
Take care,
PK
