Tuesday Night Poker Night: GR2 (2/15)
Folks:
Let's get some shooting in tonight. Who's in?
10:30p EST start time. Someone will host (PK? RobV?). I say we do some seige as soon as we hit 10 guys. Also, perhaps we should try out some regular old 'last man.' We haven't done that at all yet, and it's worth a few rounds I think.
Of course, no night would be complete without HH at Bunkers
See yas tonight!

I'm probably out due to taking care of the baby while my wife sleeps. I might be able to sneak in some shooting if he's asleep and I'm still awake -- I'm on a major caffeine drip these days -- but there's no way I can host as I may have to leave on a moment's notice if Landon wakes up or needs a diaper.
This will be my M.O. for the next few months, I think, although Landon has been a quiet baby and a good sleeper. Still, as any parent knows, the first two weeks of a kid's life are deceiving. All they do is sleep and eat. And then at two weeks, they wake up. That's when the fun begins.
Take care,
PK

Nope, not yet. It's on my growing list of recordings on the DVR. I hope to watch it tonight.
But I do know who won: The finest rally driver on the planet, in the blue Subaru! Nice drive by Rovanpera to fourth after Panizzi's third in the Monte. Looks like the Lancer is a very much improved car this year.
I haven't turned on my Xbox or watched much tube since Landon was born last Thursday. My other two kids are sick, and I'm taking care of them, the Frau and the bambino. I have a whole new respect for housewives -- anyone who says being a full-time mom of multiple kids isn't a tough job should try it. It's harder than any white-collar job I've ever had, and it's just as tiring as when I poured concrete during summers in college. But it's SO worth it!
That's why my wife and I always roll our eyes in private when people ask her, "So, are you going back to work?" Compared to raising three small kids, going back to an office environment is better described as "going back to play."
Take care,
PK

Yeah it looks like I might get to enjoy cheering on my Mitsu team this year. Well, I should probably quit discussing WRC before this becomes a thread jack.pk500 wrote:Nice drive by Rovanpera to fourth after Panizzi's third in the Monte. Looks like the Lancer is a very much improved car this year.

First Poker Night I've missed in eons, fellas. Was taking care of the wee lad, doing some "real" work -- one of the negatives of having your office at home -- and catching up on some stuff on the DVR.
I'm doubtful for TOCA tonight, too.
Take care,
PK

Yeah. I had the M8 or M-16A2 up there, and even zoomed you couldn't see much because of the height and fog/mist. When you were under the bridge I could see your muzzle flashes but not much more. Need the scope right then, but I refuse to break my vow and walk down the dark path towards sniperism.mixdj1 wrote:Yeah Rob that waterfall map is awesome. I normally don't like to use the sniper rifle but after Neck finally capped me under the bridge I just had to get a sniper rifle and take a few shots from the top of the falls. Very cool!
