 My mental countdown is on ... I should have ESPN NFL Football in my mitts in less than 30 hours.
 
 Tick-tock ... tick-tock ... tick-tock.
 
 I need to keep my enthusiasm in check, though. It seems I´m disappointed almost every time I´m this geeked for a game. Hopefully this will be an exception.
 
 Anyone else fired up for the arrival of this game tomorrow?

I am a idiot. I just bought NFL Fever on Ebay and I´m pretty sure this game will not be played by you guys once ESPN comes out tomorow. I guess I´ll sell it as soon as I get it and buy my own ESPN copy. duhhhhhh

Is it me or is the commercial for this game just awful. About 3 seconds of gameplay and that stupid SNL guy thats not even funny. Please... "Oh it´s that birdie talking again".. I´ve never heard that one before. Sega seriously needs to fire its whole marketing department.

The commercial does suck, indeed. Especially the reference to Billy "White Shoes" Johnson. How many video game players younger than 30 even know who White Shoes is?

I´m going to trade in some games I don´t play anymore and pick this up. I´m getting rid of Pro Race Driver, and Midtown Madness 3. That´ll get me this for $9.99 CDN.

 Remember: Pro Race Driver will be re-released in October for Xbox Live. I sold my copy this week to help fund my ESPN NFL purchase, but I´m definitely getting the XBL version.
 
 I love Pro Race Driver, but I´m ditching it now to get maximum value before the XBL version comes out.

PK, I´ll probably hold off getting PRD XBL version. Too many other things that interest me more... Links 2004 and Top Spin are the two that come immediately to mind.
 
 I always say "I´ll hold off" but like most of you end up getting the game when I see all the hype. We´ll see what I have for trade-in at that time...
