No posts in a couple days and no sign of you in a heated political debate? Hope all is well in the PK abode. Rare to see you go this long in between posts.

Brent:

Mix was right: The family and I were on vacation this week at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Wonderful, relaxing time. No huge hotel or restaurant chains, all Mom-and-Pop places. Excellent beach. No laptop, no Xbox, no connections to outside world.

$6 lobsters and beer every night, fun on the beach with the kids, read myself to sleep by 10:30 p.m. every night, great shopping in Portland, one of the funkiest, coolest, hippest small cities I've been to in America. Stopped at Saratoga to watch the ponies on the way, staying overnight in a charming place in the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Highly, highly recommend the Maine coast for a relaxing vacation.

Thanks for asking, man. Sure appreciate it!

Take care,
PK

Tim:

Hush! I have two Toon games on the DVR to watch tonight.

I'm not worried: Newcastle didn't get its first win last season until nearly October.

Take care,
