Final question, for now: Most overrated game of the year so

OK, boys, you´re probably tired of my question posts by now. But I´m just trying to stimulate some conversation.
 
 What are the most overrated games you´ve played this year on any system?
 
 I have an easy No. 1: State of Emergency for the PS2. What an overrated, dull, mind-numbing, button-mashing piece of sh*t with no redeeming value other than a beer bottle coaster.
 
 My close second is ... SF_Z, where are you? ... WRC for the PS2. This is Sega Rally 2 disguised as a sim with the full WRC license. I won the championship by about 40 points the first time out on the intermediate level and was cruising toward the title on the hardest level when I decided to sell the game. I´m no Richard Burns when it comes to virtual rally driving, but a mutant chimp could win in this game after a few tries.

My most overrated game for this year is Resident Evil for the Gamecube. It looks great, but I just couldn´t stand the controls. I also didn´t like the inventory system. It just didn´t make sense. I never played the PSX version so I was new to the series. I like a little more action with my horror, thank you. I was so sick of running away because I was out of ammo. Maybe that is why I like Eternal Darkness so much.
 
 My second most overrated game is NBA Street for the GC, which was released this year. I rented it and could not get into it. I think I need a little more realism in my bb games. Im going to 2nd State Of Emergency, I fell into the hype of it as well and was amazingly disappointed. It lasted a entire 20 minutes before the wow factor wore off and the stupidity factor wore in. My 8 yr old who loves the kick the crap outta anything genre hated it as well.
 
 Next title granted there wasnt a lot of enthusiasm for but still was hyped in the media was NBA Live 2002. EA basketball has gone the way of baseball very flashy intro, then falls apart afterwards.
 
 I hope I am wrong on the next one, but GTA:Vice City has me hyped to get it, but the little voices in my head are warning me about this one. Could be wrong. Coming from the mouth of a lifelong gambling loser <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon24.gif">

Out of the games I played, definitely ASB 2003. I am not going to start any sort of war here, just my opinion.

I don´t know if overrated is the right word, but I could not really get into Grand Theft Auto III. I enjoyed driving around and doing the side quests, but I never felt compelled to keep playing. I got onto the second island, and it´s pretty much been gathering dust since then. I recognize that it is an amazing game, but just don´t feel the need to go back and finish it.
