All this talk of "marketing genius" has me thinking. Considering EA's record of releasing bug-ridden updates to its flagship titles and rendering them worthless with gamekilling flaws, maybe it's time to change the old "EA Sports: It's in the Game" tagline.
Consider:
March Madness: horrible slowdown, no offensive rebounds
NBA Live: no offensive rebounds
MVP Baseball: no lefty power, no CPU steals
NCAA Football: CPU can't pass against zone defense
FIFA: Lord, let me count the ways...
Might I suggest one of the following:
"EA Sports: The Emperor DOES SO have clothes"; or
"EA Sports: Just lay back and enjoy it"
