I was just looking at the account on twitter, couple of nuggets maybe people know.

"All 134 FBS schools are in the game"

Rece Davis is in the game so is Desmond Howard, Chris Fowler. Davis said "@CollegeGameday crew is well-represented!"

Herbstreet is one of the commentators. Jessie Jay Palmer as well both used specific quote: "one of the voices of the game" so maybe multiple crews?

You may not see the name and likeness of every NCAA player in College Football 2024, after all. EA is paying each player $600 and giving him a free copy of the game as payment.

LOL. Do you think the starting QB at Alabama, who is making $1 million-plus per year in NIL, will settle for $600? Their local car dealer is paying them 100 times as much and giving them a free car.

The only hope is that the impatience and ego of youth will coax many big NIL stars to swallow and take the $600 because they want to see their name and likeness in the game.

I'm going to disagree here, most kids just want to be in the game. Remember this whole things started years ago with ex-College players like O'bannon wanting to sue EA. It wasn't kids currently in college that I recall. Sure there will be some d-bag, Sanders kids come to mind and maybe they pay those players more but frankly I'd be fine with a game with fake player names anyway.

Plus the fact that once you get into season #2 of your dynasty, it’s all fake names anyway.

What I read yesterday is college players have to the end of April to opt in to make the game. If they don't we just get a fake name and avatar. If they opt in after April they may get put in during a title update but again almost no one cares about real names IMO. Give me the teams with fictional players and I'm good.

I want all the real names for online play alone. Plus, if you can export draft classes to be used in Madden that’s an added benny.

I haven’t been reading up much on the game so no clue if that’ll be a feature or not.

If they do generic names I"m fine with that. I haven't really known any CF player in the last 20 years unless they were a CFB Star Teebow or Lawrence.

I really hope they don't f*** this up. If they just update NCAA 14 (which I still play consistently) I'd be happy.
