I saw Sniper Elite 4 was still on gamepass and gave it a try again. Its nice its been upgraded for next gen.

Played a little and it's ok. I dont want to redo the entire game again but 5 is on another level.

BTW....I first tried the Xcloud version and it was terrible. I tried a few more games on xcloud like nba and it was really bad.

What happened? Last time I played xcloud it was decent. Now the framerates are terrible and the graphics are washed out faded.

Anyone planning to go back to SE3 or SEV2? Assuming you’re new to the series and never played them.

Why crowdsource that kind of question, man? If you want to play them, play them. Who gives a f*ck what others are doing, unless you're looking for online dance partners? :)

New DLC released, 15 bucks. I'll pass - maybe in the future if it's discounted.

Fletch:

Really? Both the X and S are in stock at BestBuy.com. The S is available at amazon.com.

I don't have one -- don't want one. But it shouldn't be too tough to find one online at retail price.

Good luck.

I bought it. I love it. Huge level, very interesting design, haven't seen it all yet.

Got both the Hitler and Landing Force DLC, worth every penny IMO.

If there’s a criticism to this game on Gamepass, I didn’t find the missions of the DLC too long. It was good but wished it would keep me busier.

The Sniper Elite series was one of those games that always seemed intriguing but I never bit the bullet on because it looked a little too unpolished. I finally got 4 on a Steam sale and loved it. Very satisfying playing on authentic difficulty and landing a long distance shot after accounting for wind and bullet drop.

5 was also enjoyable. The levels are certainly larger and more interesting to explore but it still felt a little samey after playing so much of 4. Did anyone else feel like there was less wind to deal with in 5? If I'm remembering correctly it seemed like the wind was much more active in 4 while I only occasionally had to compensate for it in 5. At one point i thought i might have accidentally been playing on a lower difficulty but that wasn't the case.
