You won't regret. Damn good game.

It is a damn good game, but it's not going to be long before IW makes a lot of changes to appease the youtubers complaining about the lack of traditional mini-map, slower pace, lack of quick-scoping, maps being too open, etc. It's going to become a much different game than what it is right now, so if you enjoy it hop on and ride it out for however long it lasts.

Damn It! The DSP Forum Effect gets me once again and this is coming from a guy who played Red Dead Redemption for all of about 2 hours across multiple attempts and purchsed The Division 2 and have yet to play it once. Thanks guys! :)

With crossplay, your match up online based on input method. You could get it on PC and spend all your time online playing PC/controller vs console/controller guys. This was the best year to get it on PC!

(Although I'm not sure if the Elite controller works differently on PC?)

F*** those assclowns. Everything missing you described is what makes this game better than every other COD. They've got Gunfight. If they add back in that quickscope bullshit, they can kiss my ass.

If they do make changes, hopefully they leave the Realism mode alone and add the different game types to it.

Update took Realism off the main page. Found the hardcore mode with game types and they are the same as realism from what I can tell. Really impressed so far with multiplayer.

Good times last night with Diablo and a few other friends in a party - we won most of our matches.

As someone who has endured a love-hate relationship with COD over the eras, this is the best COD game in YEARS.

Is there a Battle Royale mode in this version? If so, any good?

I just had one of those mind-melting glitches in the campaign that just drives you crazy. Near the end of a long, slow, stealth-based mission, I crouched in a corner. Some bad guys exited the building, opening the door and trapping me behind it. This door became totally immovable...and of course the game automatically saved with me stuck behind it. :x :x :x :x

Now I have to replay a good 45 minutes of the campaign. Anyway, careful when hiding behind doors...

Not that I know of, and thank God. Battle Royale is played out, at least for me. Sick of it.

Well, it’s not they’d make you play it. Thanks for verifying though.

I'm trying to figure out WTH infinity ward is doing. First, realism mode was taken out. Then, with this update, my absolute favorite mode, NVG, was removed. What in the blue hell.

Realism is still in there. It’s just “Hard Core” setting now.

Hardcore is there, but not quite the same. Realism takes everything off the HUD. Also hardcore starts you with just a little bit of health, where as realism starts with normal health. Both have no health regeneration. At least that's how I took it.

What I don't understand is why take it out? It's just another option. It's already part of the game, just leave it for those who prefer it.

While I haven't played the maps yet, I absolutely hate the changes I've seen made to Shipment. They've added verticality to it by allowing you to get up on the crates.

Warzone starts today. Two playable modes, Battle Royale and Plunder a race to collect the most cash.

You don’t need to have MW to play these two new modes.
