Anyone having difficulties still?

Gave up trying. Not interested any more, especially with cloud gaming working so well with my OG Xbox.

The best buy near me had about 15 Xs behind the counter. If anybody wants one, let me know and I'll run over. You can venmo and just add in shipping.

Xbox winning sames in March

First, those are UK sales figures, not U.S.

Second, do we really care which console is winning the sales wars? I don't root for consoles; I root for good games for all platforms.

Carry on.

Xbox revenue up 6% as Xbox hardware tops U.S. sales charts

https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-rev ... les-charts

*Microsoft announced its FY22 Q3 earnings on Wednesday, with gaming revenue up 6% year-over-year according to the Xbox platform owner.

*The company attributed the growth to a 14% increase in hardware sales attributed to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, while content and services also increased by 4%.

https://twitter.com/stephentotilo/statu ... 3231501314
Latest NPD hardware numbers (game console sales in the U.S.) indicate three things:

- Overall hardware supply still bad (revenue down from year ago)
- Xbox doing better than it has in a generation
- PS5 in really short supply (beaten by Switch in units in Q1, by Xbox in $ in Q1)

Interesting. Would seem to be a feature with limited appeal, especially for current-gen games. I'm the tightest mofo on this planet, and even I stopped buying physical discs about three years ago.

But I suppose this could be a nice feature for those with a big catalog of previous-gen, backward-compatible physical disc games.

Does the S have enough storage to have both loaded at the same time?

yes - Madden is only like 40GB on next gen. NBA2K will be probably 120 going off last year. So you could probably fit another one or two EA games on there like NHL and FIFA which were around 50GB each last year.

If you want to get XB next gen better do it now. By holiday time, it'll be hard to find and if you do find it, it'll be jacked up 2x or 3x the retail price.

I scored a PS5 recently by checking Target’s app randomly. I dl’d WRC 10 and was immediately impressed by the controller and it’s enhancement of the gaming experience. I always thought of it as being gimmicky, but am eating crow for knocking before I tried it.

It seems like not many devs are using the advantages of the PS5 controller.

Anyone know an alternative to ebay for selling games? Ebay doesn't use Paypal anymore and requires your bank account be linked to get paid.

Yeah, that Astro demo included with the PS5 was amazing. NHL 23 does use some vibration functionality, but it felt weird.

Target having a 50% off sale this week - saw Madden 23 already 50% off last gen and 60% off next gen. $30 bucks for madden all platforms.

Other sports games on discount are Fifa 23 all systems, F1 22 and a lot of non sports games.

Do you guys think Madden is still worth a purchase at 60% off for a casual football video game player?

Depends which mode you want to play. The game is more playable now then at launch but the franchise mode is still broken in the draft.

Its just a MUT game right now.
Franchise is broken.
Even play now by week is broken. still stuck on week 1. they won't fix it until December.
