Yeah, I am very encouraged. Gaming has been a bit flat of late (for me at least.
A little "SIT DOWN, B*TCH!" session with Teal, Rob and me could help.

Soon. Rob is on vacation through next week. So, either then or sloppy seconds with Teal and me in the interim.

Free this weekend on XBOX -
Rainbow Six Siege, The Division 2, Assetto Corsa and Lawn Mowing Simulator
PK - Is this the racing game you said is the best one? Assetto Corsa?

The game that PK raves about is the follow up called
Assetto Corsa Competizione . It is currently on sale for $11.99 (ends in 3 days) which is an absolute steal for that game! Assetto Corsa (the original) was not bad on console, but nothing compared to it's PC version.

Yes, Asseto Corsa Competizione, not the original Asseto. Excellent game!
The original Asseto Corsa not nearly as good as ACC.

Can you guys recommend me a good PS5 memory expansion with heat sink.
I want to spend around 100 bucks or less so I guess that'll be 1TB. Would love to get 2TB but probably out of my price range.

Thanks Diablo!
I have a question - so if I move my current games off the internal PS5 memory and onto this expansion memory will the games run faster? Or it doesn't matter where it's saved?
I recall for xbox if you save the games on the external SSD they're suppose to load faster I think.

I finally bought a PS5 memory expansion but having some issues.
I got the WD 4TB SSD and installed it on my PS5 today.
I downloaded a bunch of PS5 games like MLB The Show 24 since it was free with PS Plus this month.
But when I try to play the game, it says 'There's not enough free space in console storage' Free up 1.5 gbs'.
So I installed the entire game on the SSD. I have like 3.5 GB free on the SSD.
I have my storage space settings for the new SSD.
Anyone know why it keeps referring to the console storage? Or is that the way PS5 is setup. Even if you have a SSD to download games the 'game save' still uses the console store? Or is there a way to change this in the settings?

Astro Bot is a GOTY contender. It’s that good. Takes advantage of the PS5 controller incredibly well.

everyone is raving about it.
I never played the first one that came free w/ PS5. Tried it last night and it was incredible fun and nostalgic w/ the old Playstation rewards.
I'll def try to pick this new one up when it's on sale.

been playing uncharted 4 for PS5 the first game : Thieves.
incredible game. I now understand why this series is so popular.
this game is from 2016 but better than most 2024 games. really looks incredible for PS5.

$800 for a PS5 Pro, honestly at this point spend double the money and get a PC and you'll have way more games to play then every console put together.

Ummm didn't you see the part of the presentation where Cerny pointed out the improved clarity of the background festival audience in the Ratchet and Clank intro level????
I'm actually scared at what this means for pricing of future consoles. If it's all bonkers like this, I will look for a cheaper/retro option where I can still play sports games smoothly.

sony is testing the market w/ the PS5 PRO price point.
If Xbox decides to sit out the next gen and stop developing consoles, you can be assured PS6 will be selling for $1000 or more.
With no competition, Sony can argue that PS6 $1000+ price point is a deal as their new competition are PC's and iPhone's - which cost more than the $1000 price.
