I don’t care really who advances as long as the games are competitive, but who are we kidding? The possibility of a Yankees-Dodgers WS is what the league wants to see.

Not me. I want to see the Astros in it.

Replay still sucks. A foot off the base (clearly beating the throw of course) by one inch completely changes a game. So dumb. And I hate the Nationals more than anyone.

Rollercoaster of a sloppy game in WAS. Just as they were thin in the bullpen, W. Davis comes thru. Questionable calls by the Umps for sure. In the end, horrible Nats defence, D. Baker’s poor management and the Umps lousy call ultimately cost them. How the hell after a video replay, you call that safe on first?

Man, that was a bizarre game.

Great match ups coming up.

I've never watched a more stressful and bizarre game. And on top of that - I've never seen two teams try and give the game away so badly.

This display did nothing for my confidence going into LA now. :(

You don't enjoy watching the bullpen walk every third hitter? It's good for the constitution! :)

I can see that, but you can't deny the Astros/Hurricane Harvey story line would be pretty compelling.

Close game in Houston, and what a gem Verlander pitched. His curveball and slider was dancing all night long and maintained his speed consistently in the mid 90s.

Altuve is their MVP and came thru yet again, hard to pitch around Correa and Altuve.

Tonight’s Astros game exemplifies why it is so DAMN hard to be a Houston pro sports fan. The city of Houston is snakebit when it comes to winning pro sports championships.

Two NBA championships TWENTY TWO YEARS AGO.

ZERO Superbowls. EPIC FAIL.

One World Series, swept in 4 games. EPIC FAIL

Two PRO sports championships in 50+ years.

Disgusted.

Houston's got a great team but the Yanks thanks to Brian Cashman are reloaded with youth and veterans. There really isn't a weak spot in the lineup.

Add the Red Right 88 , The Drive , The Fumble , Game 7 World Series losses in extra innings in 1997 and 2016, and at least 3 other 2 game leads in playoff series .. Sincerely : Cleveland Fan

Not saying Houston has the exclusive title of worst pro sports cities, but.....

Bills went to 4 SB's.....Houston = ZERO.

Sabres went to 2 Stanley Cup Finals.....Houston = No NHL Hockey Team in the 4th largest city in the US.....

The Cubs have walked more men in this postseason than Maddux did in any one of his last 13 seasons.
