NCAA Season 2011

Post by Teal »

Just had to say kudos to my alma mater, Jacksonville State, for their tremendous comeback against MTSU tonight, and to the 'Cuse, for one helluva comeback against the Boilermakers. Two very fun games to watch, no doubt.

Might want to change the thread title since there is game w/ the same name. LOL. Put season at the end or something.

Same thread name. Different topic. :)

I thought the Cuse played Wake Forest. Deamon Deacon ...Boilermakers I could see the confusion.

Nice comeback for SU. But the team still has many problems, starting with an offensive line that can't block and a defense that misses too many tackles.

People are happy this morning in Syracuse. But an OT victory over Wake Forest could be a false dawn.

Its understandable...a shot of whiskey and a beer( a Boilermaker) can dull the senses of any L.A. guy. And before db cringes, any Southern man knows that LA. stands for Lower Alabama.

My Uncle took my Dad to the Notre Dame game today, and I was so tempted to call them and laugh when the USF player ran back that fumble. I so love it when anything bad happens to Notre Dame.

The Oregon Ducks get my award for fugliest looking uniforms. Still don't know if their uniform tops the Vancouver Canucks uniform back in the mid 90's.

Guess you are a Justice League fan. Lol. The dual colored facemask is atrocious.

The Ducks have a different uniform every week. so if u dont like this one, stick around for next week (I love their helmet though).

I liked their previous attempts including the 2003 uniforms but these flat black helmets with the neon glow in the dark colors is definitely one for the fugly record books. :)

Agreed. But the silverish carbon fiber-looking lid is pretty cool.

If you follow Nike at all, you'd know it's their staple. Black and volt (the neon color). Virtually all of their shoes have a black/volt rendition so it's only fitting a team got it too. Ugly is the last word I'd use...awesome is more like it.

And yes, the carbon helmets are ridiculously sweet.
