And Pro Bowl TE Zach Miller to the Seahawks.

I have no idea what's going on in the Raiders front office (as usual), but franchise tagging a linebacker that played well for you, but not at an All-Pro level (for one year in Kamerion Wimbley), and then letting Asomugha and Miller walk is craziness.

Asomugha thought as recently as last Friday that he was going to be a Raider. The Raiders never even made an offer, so he entertained other offers. That's why it was so quiet until the weekend for him.

But Miller was probably pissed that they tag Wimbley and then give him a 48 million dollar deal (by the way, they probably could have 2nd round tendered him and nobody would have touched him...why exclusive rights tag him? Baffling), and then let him sit around and wait. I don't blame him for leaving with Tom Cable and Robert Gallery.

Team is just bizarro world. Normally I can deal with it, but letting Aso walk without so much as an offer could be the final nail in the coffin. I've said for the past 2 years if Asomugha left, I'd be watching whatever team he went to first, and the Raiders second...I wouldn't have cared if it was Cleveland or Cincinnati or something like that.

Yeah $29 million guaranteed to a guy whom most people never heard of.

I forget how big a contract Thomas Kelley got. Has he been worth the money?

49ers are no better. They're getting an F grade from some experts, just letting some starters go and then signing some minor players. Some fans think it's a plan to get the first pick of the draft and get Luck. Stupid idea, decimate the team for just one player, even if it is a potential franchise QB or MVP -- they're hyping Luck like the next coming of Elway or Peyton Manning.

Tommy Kelly, the Raiders DT? I'm assuming that was directed at me...lol

He's been a solid player, but not a huge 40 million + type of player. He got a LOT better when Seymour got there, though. Part of it was because of Seymour's double teams, but he's also made some pretty big strides in work ethic and keeping his motor running to get penetration.

Problem with Oakland is that they have to severely overpay for anybody worthwhile, because nobody wants to play there. I understand that part...but they have zero clue on the proper use of the franchise tag.

And I agree on Luck--but if you get it RIGHT, your franchise instantly turns around. Look at what Bradford did in the single season. If you hit it right, your team's fortunes change. It's just so risky.

The "Cadillac" is rolling in to St. Louis. Nice pick-up as the number two back. Nice offseason by the Rams.

After observing the short offseason thus far, I am convinced the 49ers plan to tank the season so they can get a shot at Andrew Luck in next year's NFL Draft.

The Bills will join you in this limp to the finish.

Bills are going to have some competition in the east for last place...unfortunately for Jared, Rod & I.

Thank you Buffalo Bills!! Great uniform change. That was long overdue! I can watch the Bills again without thinking "CFL"
