Finally, search doesn't work yet...the search index is currently being populated; that'll be done sometime tonight I think.

Some new features on the new board:

If you click on your "User Control Panel" (top right circle), you'll see a "Friends & Foes" list. If you add someone to your Foe list, then you won't see that person's posts. Nothing currently happens if you make someone your friend; I can enable this if wanted (I think it just highlights your friends posts).

Mods can issue warnings. I'm not exactly sure how that works, but it's visible in the user's profile. We might use this, we might not.

People can report spam posts by click on "report this post" (the exclamation point in the forums). Though hopefully we'll have less spam with the new forums.

Any chance this forum supports multiple themes, like a mobile theme or something for use on smartphones? Just curious...there are only a few types that do. A site like OS has an option at the bottom to switch to a mobile view. Kinda handy...no biggie.

Loving the new software! Now when people post crazy-long links or big pictures, only that post will be so wide as to force me to scroll to see it. Big improvement over the old digs, where the whole page would end up in that crazy wide mode, so it'll be a lot better especially on the iphone.

There might be...there are themes that are mobile-optimized that I can add once I find them and install them. Will try to do that sometime this weekend. Also, I'll see if anyone has made an addition where it auto-detects whether you are on a mobile and adjusts accordingly.

Though I must say that this site does look a lot better (on the default theme) on the IPhone than the old one.

Feel free to put this site through the paces, test out various features, etc. I haven't had too much time to test things out (other than basic stuff), so point out anything new, or any problems here.
