Anyone know if there's a way to see what resolution your PS3 is using while in game? My tv doesn't support 720p. Sometimes when I'm playing it's clear to me that the display is 1080i, and then other times I scratch my head thinking that it doesn't look as good as before.
Oh, another thing. Sometimes the little messages in the top right corner (ex: so-and-so has signed on) are big enough to read easily. Sometimes they're barely noticeable due to being so small.
Is there a way to adjust these messages so I can read them easily all the time?
Some games that aren't 1080i enabled will downrez to 480p. It's quite silly. I don't think there's anyway to see what it's outputting though. There are some lists online if you do a bit of snooping that will tell you which games don't do 1080i.
