MLB Patch out tomorrow

Post by greggsand »

If anyone still cares, the 360 MLB patch is finally coming out tomorrow. Considering I've yet to play a full game, I'm looking forward to it (despite how sad the product may be).

Too late for me. If they had gotten it right to begin with, I'd have kept the game, but no way I'll go back and buy it again. They lost my $60 with their incompetence.

If they lowered the price to $30, I'd rebuy it. But for $60, I don't feel it's worth it. Besides the freezes, the game was too station to station.

30 bucks and throw in a memory card so you can use that instead of the HD.

Apparently the patch is out. Finally! Now I am hearing a couple of versions. One that's only a 360 update not from 2K, and secondly if it's indeed the pacth, the game still freezes for some while it fixes others. Anyone still have the game?

I erased all my MLB saves from the harddrive and then downloaded the patch. I was able to play a full game without freezes. We'll see when I turn off and turn on to play another game if it really works.

Thanks Scoop. My dilemma is whether I should delete my VIP profile. Some say it's necessary, some had no problems with the new patch. And yet hear this, some people claim that they had no problem whatsoever with the game until this patch and started seeing the freeze problem.

I did notice that the options for having the big play of the inning or previous at-bats replays were grayed out now. I knew it had something to do with that. I'd play it safe and delete your saves.
