I was on a jury a couple of years ago for a Drunk Driving case.....I believe it was a 6 or 8 person jury and the people on it were just normal people with kids, construction workers, to college educated people like myself. It was a good time and would recommend doing it again.

I know someone that was given Grand Jury work for three straight months so that would have be interesting.

I have no idea why this case has captivated America. Was there a bloody glove that titillated everyone? Was there a white Bronco chase that I missed?
Ditto. Hope you had a great 4th brother.

I worked! Silly me.

Hope you enjoyed the holiday with Carol and Dom and expunged thoughts of the Klitschko-Haye disaster from your memory as quickly as possible. :)

No cameras in the courtroom. By law. Anywhere. There are too many stupid people glued to televisions, and these things shouldn't be ratings boons.

Agree 100%. The courtroom isn't a place for entertainment. People's lives are at stake.

Zing !

Agree with Jack again. I remember thinking back to the late 80's when the show Cops came to TV. I thought it was a bad idea. It's the reality TV culture. People were actually brawling outside the courtroom to get inside to watch the case and who can forget the idiot who got 6 days for flipping off the prosecution.
