KU has far exceeded my expectations. Everything now is just gravy!

Great win by the Mizzou Tigers.

The Big 12 is represented very well!

Yes they are.. I wish Texas would have made it though.

Slightly OT, but who would've thought that Pat Summitt's Lady Vols would fall in first round!

No doubt. That is THE shocker of either tournament.

The Lady Vols were 42-0 during the opening two rounds of the tournament before this loss.

If Memphis attacks Mizzou's press and takes it right to the rim like Marquette did in the second half, Memphis will run away with the game. Mizzou has no shot blockers. If they however settle with jumpers, it could be a very close game, as I see Tyreke Evans turning the ball over a lot in a half court set. I still give the edge to Memphis, but not by much.

And we'll be waiting for the winner, assuming we get by Purdue. :)

This March Madness may be lacking in a lot of upsets, but it has some terrific sweet 16 match-ups. Not a bad game in the bunch.

This UConn Purdue game has been a snoozer. Here's hoping the Mizzou/Memphis game will be much more engaging to watch.

Pitt/Xavier was probably the worst game of basketball I have watched in my life. Really...both teams shoot less than 20% in the 2nd half??? Way to go out and fight for it boys.

Right now, Memphis looks extremely ordinary.

Woa did you see that half court shot to end the half?!?!?!?!?

Congrats to Mizzou.

Memphis desperately needs more than one three point shooter and a team that collectively that can shoot free throws other than Evans. By the way, Tyreke Evans is a big time player. But I wonder, can he shoot the outside jumper? Either way, he's very very good.

Memphis will most likely be playing for the championship next year with all the big time recruits they're bringing in.

I'm so happy for Mizzou. I won't lie, I didn't pick them to get past Memphis.. I was thinking with my pocket book. :)

Congrats team and coach Mike Anderson!!!

Three Big East teams played tonight, three Big East teams won.

Let's hope Syracuse tomorrow night can make it at least half of the Elite Eight spots taken by clearly the best conference in college basketball, no matter what Dickie V and the ACC apologists say.

Take care,
PK

Here's to all of them finding some way to not win to the tourney so everyone outside of the east coast doesn't have to hear about them anymore. 8)

Not that shocking that they won, because they are a good team, but ringing up Memphis for 100 was definitely surprising.

Sort of like the way we've heard all about USC football the last seven or eight years?

Good is good. Sorry.

Yeah that was a much higher scoring game than I would have ever imagined.
