Actually the cooperative platforming sounds more interesting than the gun battles in the co-op mode.

They should also try to incorporate more platforming elements in to the MP mode.

After all, this game first got noticed for the platforming/acrobatic moves.

I disagree somewhat. I hate platformers what kept me into the original was the feeling of being immersed in a movie with a story i wanted to know the conclusion of.

If it starts getting gimmicky and like every other shooter out there then I might not care too much for it.

I'm talking about the trailer they showed at E3, about a year or two before they released it.

It showed footage of Nathan running through the jungle, jumping, swinging from trees, etc.

People compared it to the old Activition game on the Atari or to Flashback on the 16-bit consoles.

The game ended up more shooter-oriented than that first trailer suggested.

After posting that video, the first thing I did when I got back in town was to purchase Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.

Also picked up Motorstorm (the original).

I still have Drakes Fortune. IMO the original Motorstorm was better than the sequel.

I have the beta for Uncharted 2 (not sure if it's still going on or not) and it reminded me of a blend of Uncharted and Socom. It was pretty fun.

You'd think the crtic who wrote the article was reviewing a novel or movie. I could hardly read that whole review. I skipped to the last paragraph and it summed up all I needed to know.
