Hey Edmonton, what do you want for the top pick? :) We have many top paid players who never show up in the playoffs, do you need those type of players?

Just for fantasy and fun purposes, it's no secret that they need help in the blue line and another goalie. Oilers have plenty of talent up front. So if I was P. Chiarelli I would ask for Pietrangelo, Shattenkirk, Elliot and T.J Oshie plus a young prospect. McDavid is that good. 8)

Petro is untouchable. :) I'll give them Backes, Shattenkirk, Elliott and a prospect and a #2 next season. :)

Actually, the Oil are keeping McDavid, but I would not be suprised to see Eberle or Hall go somewhere for a #1 or #2 D man, or elite goalie now that there's a surplus of scoring at forward/

Plus with new mangament in town finally!!!!!! Charelli wants some big skilled bodies up front......... There's even a rumour they will push hard for Babcock when his season is over.......

Exciting times to be an Oiler fan!

You can bet that Shanahan will try to do his best to do the same and they both know each other pretty well.

Yeah, but would you rather have McDavid, Nurse, Nugent-Hopkins, Hall, and maybe Eberle and Yakupov, and (seemingly) a lot of input into how the team is built?

Or would you rather be stuck with Kessel and Pylon Phaneuf on albatross contracts. ;)

Who knows how much teams will be offering Babcock, because there will be a lot of interest. Money talks as you know, despite what players certain teams may have. And those young guns in EDM have been together for a bit already with the same result.

If you believe all the rumors, Babcock will be coaching 5 teams next year.

BINGO!

The bandwagoners in Chicago were coveting him all f***in week.

Sickening to listen to these unworthy, undeserving band wagon k c***.

Q has done enough to deserve some respect but in this land of weak faggots ...will never f***in happen.

The best part is that when the idiots been to one f***in hockey game their whole f***in life calls and talks this babcock s***...the supposedly educated and knowing hosts...go with it!

Talk about UNDESERVING and clue less.

That's a good G7 going. Ovie got a free ride for the non call boarding on Hickey but justice is served as Holtby gives away a softie.

End of that NYI/WSH was fun to watch. Fun game winning goal.

I watched the end game celebration of WSH and it was pretty good. They were excited but didn't celebrate like they won the cup. Unlike the Blues from last years first round game 1 3 OT win vs the hawks.

Talk about an odd couple doing the post game.

As grotesque a liar as milbury is, he is completely balanced by the HONESTY of JR.

God Bless you JR. :D

Yep, and home ice advantage doesn't mean much in this series.

I would be shocked if the league doesn't suspend Kronwall on his massive hit on Kucherov. I don't mind big hits at this time of the year, but the leaping WWE style elbow to the head is not good.

Just saw it first time. I agree not good.

Kucherov didnt say he thought the hit was dirty but he might still be dazed. That was leaving the feet and elbow first to the head.

I don't think the Kronwall hit was that bad.

He was coming off his skates, but only barely. The elbow was down and the contact was head to upper arm.

Third angle in slow-mo gives the best view; http://streamable.com/6wof
