They let the Cards up to the door two times deep late but they didnt let them in that door.

Its so very strange watching Rams players interviewed on the game set after a prime time game.

I can get get used to it again though.

Having Warner and Faulk as part of the crew only making it sweeter.

Yeah, very surreal. How can you not like Long and Laurinitis? Great win. Gotta win at Miami. Schedule gets tough after that.

I called this one -- a rarity. My 7-year-old son asked, "Who's going to win this game?" as we sat down to watch. I replied: "I have an odd feeling the Rams will, pal. I don't think the Cardinals are for real. Their defense is, but not Kevin Kolb."

Scout's honor. Hand on heart. A rare pigskin Nostradamus moment for me. :)

Kolb may not be for real but their OL and running game were dreadful. Did nothing to try to slow down the pass rush. Teams rarely win if they allow 9 sacks and many more knockdowns.

Everyone keeps saying the Cardinal's D is for real. Tannehill torching them w/ a bunch of no name receivers = not for real. I guess I was the only one who watched last weeks game.

And yes, their line is probably the worst I've ever seen. Giving up 9 sacks in back to back weeks has to be a record right?

Edit: Oh, and not impressed with the Rams pick. 21 out of 45 in my league picked them, including yours truly. :)

One bit of news in the last week is that there was some kind of milestone reached for building a stadium in LA?

Then I heard somewhere that after this season, NFL teams could express interest in moving to LA, like there's some kind of moratorium now?

Have to wonder if LA would build a football stadium, which costs a billion dollars these days, without some kind of informal or behind-the-scenes discussions or negotiations with some team on a deal.

Hard to believe they'd commit to building unless they had some reasonable assurances that a team would move in.

Yes. Hopefully by next year they will be able to compete for the division.

Though the niners not unbeatable in a single game in a dome as the vikings showed us the way. Pop in the mouth and they do bleed.

Blaine Gabbert is the kind of QB that usually plays for the Bears.

Bears defense has played so much better than I expected this year. The offense has the potential to be great but they are too inconsistent right now. Luckily they have the bye and three more winnable games before the schedule gets much more difficult.

How bout those Bills! 8O

Compared to Buffalo the rest of the league look like a bunch of Hall of Famers. Bills are horrible on both sides of the ball. Got an offensive that can't move the ball? Just schedule a game against the Bills and your teams offense will be firing on all cylinders.

Not satisfied with hugely overpaying at QB the Bills have balanced that out by hugely overpaying a DL. They'd probably give up less yards on D if they stuck the Jills in there.

How about hugely overpaying Mario Williams as well? What a disaster so far. I am so glad the Texans let him go...

Would you be saying that if JJ Watt wasn't playing so ridiculously well? No one knows.

He's been invisible so far. Hard to understand how they could put that much money into their defense and end up with such a disaster. I though Wandstadt was supposed to be a decent coordinator?
