Pete, just sent a request to be added to the DSP crew. Not even sure how to link accounts and all that.

I finally played some golf and tennis. The controls for the golf is terrible and I couldn't customize it either to my liking. Maybe I am missing something there but I rather spend $100 some place else.

Tennis was fun, nothing close to the Topspin gameplay but the controls were more intuitive. Too easy though.

About to rob a jewelry store, I think I'll enjoy this mission.

Is anyone else's game just sit there on the "loading story mode"? It wont ever finish. I played the game for the first time last night, completed the first mission and then retried it, and saved then had to quit playing. Now I cant play again because it just sits at this screen. Have tried deleting my autosave file with no luck. Guess i will delete everything and start over. Hopefully.

The world is amazing! Reminds me of the first days of GTA 3 where I would just walk around looking at things, marveling.

The grime of the game itself, though, (plot,characters) makes me feel like I need to take a shower after playing. :lol:

Huh... I rather enjoyed it and found the controls pretty good for a quick round. Dunno, I prefer when interfaces are simple and the control options aren't too deep, so both the tennis and golf mini-games were pretty good in my time with them so far.

I had a second go at it while I invited Michael to play together. As Franklin I wanted to see how a twosome would fare here. MIchael hooking a driver to the freeway was hilarious but I still didn't enjoy the controls. Little things like having to press LB before I can proceed with the next shot. Still, when the MP drops this little diversion along the tennis will be fun despite the clunky controls.

Let me know when you guys decide to play tennis and which court.

So I switch over to Trevor, and he's in the middle of tossing some random dude over a railing to the concrete below. Another time, he's eating something out of a garbage can. lol

Don't think this has been mentioned yet, but besides using the select button to choose the driving camera angle, you can also go into options and set the camera to "high" instead of the default "low". This has improved my driving a ton and really opens up the road ahead. Love it.

When driving, press X to cycle through your weapons and select none (i.e. just your hand) - if you then press the left bumper you can flip other drivers/pedestrians the bird. The reactions are priceless.

I'm just can't get enough of this game. Usually in story-based games I'm rushing through the main missions - here, even though I find the main story really engaging I'm deliberately taking my time and just hanging around, doing all the side missions and so on. I just don't want it to end!

And we haven't even got to online yet;

I feel the same, just taking my time with this one when I do get time to play.
