Infocom had awesome packaging as well, back when you actually had to READ to have fun.

I agree with Naples that, while mostly worthless, having the control diagram on a separate piece of paper was helpful at times.

I still have the Nascar Racing manual 200 pages and the Grand prix 3 one 182 pages.
:lol: A serious lack of shitter material as of late.
Its not all bad tho, now im in and out in less than a couple of minutes with no time for the legs to fall asleep :lol:

The FBPro games had the deepest manuals for a spots game.

iRacing.com features an online driving school, with videos showing proper technique for all aspects of driving and racing. I find that much more informative and useful than any manual.

EA seems to be releasing their games on paper-thin disks, now, too. In this past year I lost two EA games from center-out cracks, after a lifetime of never losing a disk in this manner. I know the new cases suck and are extra-grabby, but I haven't seen this yet with disks from any other publisher, and I'm pretty careful when I remove disks from the case.
