Blimey, it's all shiny and new in here, isn't it ?
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."
it does not look like the 'search' function is working.
Yes, when moving the forum over, it didn't move over the search index (because it's gigantic). I set it to rebuild last night, but I don't think it properly completed. I'm going to try again tonight before I go to sleep, so hopefully it'll be up and working tomorrow morning.
Also, if people have any forum requests (like, for example, mobile themes), please put them in this thread. I may not be able to do anything about it, but I can see if your request is possible.

Jared, just an FYI...the "Forum" link on Digitalsportspage.com still goes to the old forum. Might want to update that eventually. Not sure how many hits the main site gets, but I imagine if people are searching through google they may go through that way.
Changed the link on DSP, will probably mothball the old site Monday evening (as I'm guessing some forum regulars may not be checking over the weekend) and put up a redirect as well.
Search indexing didn't complete last night, I'm doing it again right now and (so far) it's working...hopefully it'll be finished in a few hours.
Won't have time to put up any mobile themes or extra stuff the next few days (in laws visiting), but will try and remember to do it afterwards, along with other minor changes.
You can search users in the order that they signed up for the forum! Going back through some of those names was like looking through an old yearbook! LOL

You've always been able to do that. LOL.
Never saw it before. So many names that have faded into internet oblivion.

On a quasi related idea, I realized today that this forum is probably now the only forum that's in my regular rotation that I actively read and post to still, even years after joining. It either means you guys are so frickin' entertaining, or I'm just a geek into sports games and women.......
I'll vote for the latter.
PS: Thanks for the new forums Jared! I'll echo any call for donations if there is one. Some bucks to sponsor this place is fine by me. It's already better then any soap opera or movie i've seen.

2004...shiiiiitttt....you're still a newbie.
Lol. Shows how long my attention span is when a board holds my interest for 6 years!
Also, things look good on my Nexus 1. The zooming browser helps though.

Yeah, this forum software definitely looks better on the mobile handsets compared to the last one for whatever reason.
