I've got no problem when Steelers fans mention the rings....when talking about history/legacy. But when discussing the current season, etc. and they are getting their ass kicked in a debate they always goto the past. If I (an Eagles fan) mention the 3 NFL titles the Eagle have won it always gets shrugged off as if it never happened because it was before the NFL title was called the Super Bowl.
Jeff fisher is a great coach. The team around him is just not very good. Bill belechick is considered one of the best coaches. How did it go for him in Cleveland with a bad team? He sucked. If you don't have the horses you can't be successful at the nfl level. Only about 8 teams are truly really good. The rest are just filler. Fisher isn't the problem, lack of talent is. Gurley will be great, but who else does he have?

IIRC, Fisher has been an average to above average HC. The one year he took the Titans to the SB was when XXXIV celebrated a Rams SB win. After that he's been mediocre but certainly not an awful coach. I can't remember if he's making personnel decisions in St Louis or if he hand picked his GM. Supposedly that's something he wanted if he was going to take the Miami HC job 4 years ago.
