I'm not a Kelly disciple, but the guy has delivered in his first two years with average to mediocre QBs under center.Danimal wrote:Wow Chip Kelly fan club in here

Fox should be a good fit for the Bears, but you'd rather have Kelly on the sidelines at Soldier Field than Trestman, wouldn't you?

It's safe to say SF is going back to it's pre Harbaugh days rather quickly. Willis is retiring, Gore is gone, there's rumors they are shopping Kap. The owner is looking to get a healthy dose of reality. At least he has a nice stadium.

Re: The NFL 2014-2015
I'm not sure where I questioned his performance. i simply said Chip Kelly loves Chip Kelly and Diablo's right he never said anything I can quote directly to that. He just gives me that impression.pk500 wrote: I'm not a Kelly disciple, but the guy has delivered in his first two years with average to mediocre QBs under center.

As for Kelly over Trestman, personally I don't think there is anyone you can bring in who will win with Cutler. So while I may be in the minority I don't see Trestman as a bumbling idiot. i think he will make a good OC somewhere, he is just not head coach material in the NFL but to blame him because someone gave him a shot at his dream and he took it.. I won't do that.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the carnage Cutler has left in terms of coaches, OC and players that have gone. Sooner or later when there is one common denominator even the biggest fool must acknowledge it.

Re: The NFL 2014-2015
I have no vested interest in Kelly or the Eagles but be took a team that was clearly headed the wrong direction and has won 63% of their games instantly. Clearly he has an idea on what he's doing and gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. There are a lot of fans out there who would kill for a couple of 10 win seasons and to be in the playoff hunt not to mention a division title while on rebuild mode.Danimal wrote:Wow Chip Kelly fan club in here

I cannot raise my hand HIGH ENOUGH there. I'd kill almost anyone for a couple of 10 win seasons.bkrich83 wrote:I have no vested interest in Kelly or the Eagles but be took a team that was clearly headed the wrong direction and has won 63% of their games instantly. Jake Locker retires at 26. A strange day in the NFL just took another weird turn.

Yep, and I'm glad the Lions chose not to offer him a franchise player contract.DivotMaker wrote:Wonder if the contract is front loaded with a few million guaranteed for the inevitable fines and suspensions......I can't stand this SOB. BTW I thought that was a joke until I read it. I can't believe Bradford is the end game.

Exactly. I've been right there. What he's done is no joke. Hey all this stuff may blow up in his face bits he's earned the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to do it his way. What they were doing before he got there clearly wasn't working.TCrouch wrote:I cannot raise my hand HIGH ENOUGH there. Most people who b*tch about the trade logic have no idea how rosters are really built or how the cap is managed in the nfl. With few exceptions no trade is unrealistic in real life.Danimal wrote:Finally happened Madden trade and FA logic hits the real NFL

Re: The NFL 2014-2015
Of course not been whens the last time you've seen multiple big name trades in the NFL? Now you've seen two this year from the same team no less.bkrich83 wrote: Most people who b*tch about the trade logic have no idea how rosters are really built or how the cap is managed in the nfl. Also it was a joke.
