Can I just take a moment to b*tch about the fact that they priced the stand-alone drums at $100? $100?! The Whole Band game is like $180, and that obviously includes the software, guitar and mic.

I think RB is the better experience out of the two games, but I was intrigued enough by GHWT's drum design to want to get it when it came out on it's own, but they way over-priced it, IMO. It's not like it's some great piece of work, either, as I know it has a pretty high failure rate.

Stupid on Activision's part, IMO. If I have the drums and like them, I'll buy enough DLC to make up anything they think they are getting by the high price and then some.

$100 is at least $10 too much. They may come down soon if they don't sell well enough, just like the game + guitar bundles did.

I gave up on waiting for a seperate drumset months ago. After reading this (and reading about all the durability problems) I'm glad I did. I got the RB set along with the 2 cymbal pack for Christmas and now I hardly play WT at all.

The set should be at least $10 less (as Feanor stated).

Bob Seger pack available, 160 points each or 440 for all 3, wish it would have been released in Rock Band but still a purchase for me. :)
