No...I'll find a replacement easily to take over Virginia if needed. I'm not awarding a win to get to the sweet 16 like that. UCLA has an owner. Why some people are in this mad dash to get done, I don't quite understand.

Rob, I assume nothing from the Virginia guy? If not..Gamer? You ready? lol

Bill,

BlueAce did email me back on Saturday, with an apology. My follow up regarding dates on Sunday or tonight has not been returned, though. I just sent him another, b/c I'd like to do this tonight obviously.

Yeah. He wanted to play early on Saturdan night, which I couldn't do b/c of my wifes birthday (I surmised that she might look upon my cancelling our plans to play the game with some chagrin :) ) but late on Saturday or anytime Sunday was cool. No response. I haven't heard back on the email from this morning.

Just to let you guys know I decided to host round 2 of the tourny and have started accepting teams, im mainly on OS but I didnt want to exclude the DSP guys since it was a joint effort for the 1st tourny, you will have to get on OS if you would like to sign up and the link is as follows
http://forums.operationsports.com/vBull ... p?t=110632
we will get started as soon as we have crowned a champion for round 1.

Host round 2? Huh? Why not just start a new tourney? It's not like this one isn't going to get finished. There really isnt much I can do to prevent the majority of OS guys from quitting or going AWOL, which is what happened. The hold ups for the tourney have been all on account of the people that were recruited off the Net or off of OS. I don't blame OS for that, but when you try to hold a large tourney like this you are forced to get people you dont know to play, and when that happens you run the risk of those people not showing up. I had a choice of either awarding wins for games not actually played or taking the extra time to make sure all of the games were played by getting fill-ins; I chose the latter.

Anyway, Rob, I dumped him today and Gamer is gonna take over.

Bill not to worry all were doing for the next one is getting teams nothing will be started until we have completed this one. I just thought we should get the basis down for it so that once this one is finished we can jump right into the next one without waiting for a few weeks to put another one together.

My adrenaline for the Illinois game is so high at this point that my Dr. has advised me not to game for 24 hours :)

How about tomorrow night at 10:00pm Central?

Great game, Gamer. I don't know what came over me :) I think part of it was that I don't know a single player on UCLA, so I was just sticking to fundamentals. Those two big guys are ferocious on defense, as they challenge damn-near every shot.
