Just playing on H2H you can now at least see your records (and of course I go on a 5 game losing streak lol).

Madden 24 played much better from a H2H perspective. I cant speak to against the CPU, Franchise, etc

Defense still sucks, and I feel like I have no control of what's happening on the field at all.

I didn't even finish my 10-hour trial before deleting.

As Danimal said, the animations are a definite step forward. Too bad the AI is a definite step back. Brain-dead AI-controlled defensive teammates letting RBs blast right past them. And the robo-LBs intercepting anything near them like Marvel superheroes also are back after a welcome absence of two years.

Well, at least there's a good option this year: the brilliant and fun College Football 25. I'm buying that game as soon as I can get a discount and will wait until Madden 25 hits EA Play in February, hopefully fixed somewhat by patches. Madden needs a lot of help now.

I finally got some working sliders and the last patch made the game worse. I just put up 62 points on the Rams as the Bears and I was just doing random coach now calls. I seriously don't know what these guys are doing with this game. Stop hiring Madden competitive players and ex D3 offensive linemen to lead this game and bring in fresh people. It's absurd how bad this game is this year.

I played Madden 24 and 25 back to back the other night. It's just WHACK that the same development team made both games. Felt like the devs went on a hookers-and-blow bender for six months during development of Madden 25.

Dan is right: Madden 25 is that bad. The franchise is driving in reverse with this edition.

I'm actually enjoying my Bills CFM in M25. Gameplay is so much better than CFB to me, tackling looks more realistic.

I do miss Diggs dearly.

I tried a bunch of things to make this game enjoyable. Even went to PRO mode but it was too easy. I'm sick and tired of madden 25 now. Maybe if they fix things i'll check back in November.

Every patch makes the game worse honestly. I love football but I can't even stomach playing this game anymore.

So I made a few slider adjustments since I cannot run the ball on default ALL PRO. It's made a huge difference.

I pushed the running slider up to 65 / 60 and I can run the ball now.

I am enjoying the game now. Plus I switched to the CFB passing system they added in the last patch and the game feels much better on offense.

The graphics are really exceptional this year. I sometimes just like to watch the replays.

For some reason EA introduced seasons into online ranked H2H, so yesterday they wiped everyone's record and started a new season. Everyone was reset to square one with a 0-0 record. Why on earth do we need seasons in online H2H when you have online MUT for just that purpose? I don't care what my record is in monthly chunks, I want to know what my overall record is over the course of the year. I don't even know what the season winners get, if anything. What's the point?

ya that makes no sense. Are the seasons tied to tiers? Like in FIFA, you have online h2h seasons but once you win enough points, you get to the next level. if you can't make the x amount of points, you get regulated down. is it like that in madden online h2h?

Yep, just like that. First year they have these tiers in online h2h. That’s fine and all, actually, but the seasons where they reset everything is just dumb, IMO

this game is like jekyl and hyde

I started a Jets franchise on All Pro. I struggled passing with Rodgers. It was interception after interception.

I sort of got thru it by finding some money plays. I try not to use them but 2 plays really bail me out when I execute correctly.

I won a few games and I think there must be week to week momentum in this game because I won off like 5 in a row before losing. I haven't gone back to the 2 money plays in those 5 games. My opponents were all weak.

But now I'm having so much fun with this game. I stayed up last night to play like 4 games in a row til 4am. Let's see how long this fun will last.
