Re: EA FC 25
Same. FC 24 was a significant change in the gameplay engine and a big step forward. I sense just incremental change this year -- probably just a new coat of paint.Lancer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 1:54 pmTrailer : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBM2xyco_Kg
I really liked 24. Not sure what leap from 24 to 25 they can really make. We'll see.
I bought FC 24 before it came to GamePass and would do it again. Doubt I will for FC 25 unless the trial blows me away.

I'm feeling the same thing. Roster update with minor gameplay changes. I will continue to have fun with FC 24 on gamepass and wait for FC25 to come out on gamepass next summer.pk500 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 9:16 amSame. I assume both of you are mainly offline players, because in my honest opinion playing FUT mode this year was one of the worst experiences with EA.pk500 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 9:16 amSame. All new videos as I’ve seen so far on FC 25, are cut scenes, and small samples of gameplay with no improvements on servers mentioned, and as usual some improved graphics and animations with newer terms involved. When people park the bus in this game for the past 15 minutes of the game and EA rewards them for their Rat’s mentality play (something ongoing in FUT for awhile), with the new terms, and a lot of new fancy wording that they are using for FC 25, I doubt EA will change much on the online FUT mode.
If EA spends as much effort and money with their marketing department with the online aspects of the game, then we may see some improvements. Here’s an example: “Player’s role”, is basically another terminology for your players’ instructions in a game.
There’s a new “Cloth Simulation” term and a picture of a PSG player’s shirt next to it. As a long time FIFA player, do I care how the jersey sticks to your body?
FC “IQ”? A lot of talk but no gameplay to show the improvements, running down the wing and cutting back inside was a the Meta of FC 24. How about penalizing gamers quitting when the score is still 0-0 but they know they are being outplayed? IQ?
But hey, if you’re a career mode player, an off season casual gamer of the beautiful game, this game may appeal to you more.

Yep, offline random matches and tournaments for me. I don't give a sh*t about career, FUT, MUT, EASL or any of that online-based career stuff in EA games.

Re: EA FC 25
yes offline but I did a lot of seasons online during EURO which was fun. But I don't do FUT.
Re: EA FC 25
EA PLAY 10 hour trial available - some initial impressions :
Rush Mode - this is really fun. its 4v4 arcade style. you can play in in UT or regular modes.
Gameplay - CPU is really good on defense. I played on semi-pro and had difficulty scoring. They are more nifty on offense too, harder to steal the ball from the CPU.
Graphics look great. In some parts of the game it looks photo-realistic.
if you're not a huge soccer fan i dont think it's worth $70. I'll wait for it to come to EA Play vault next summer.
but I did like what I saw.

Re: EA FC 25
On the field there is literally no difference. Barely a roster/graphics update. About what I expected.
Re: EA FC 25
played some more online and ended up deleting it.
doesn't matter how good the game is when the online opponents are ass.
this game probably the worst online exploitation in gaming.

Yep. No way EA was changing much after last year's significant gameplay overhaul for the better.dbdynsty25 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 7:12 pmOn the field there is literally no difference. Barely a roster/graphics update. About what I expected.
EA is all about milking the marketplace. New coat of paint, roster updates and tiny tweaks every year trumpeted as major breakthroughs, while the reality is EA makes significant game engine improvements to its stick-and-ball franchises about once per decade, if we're lucky.
