Yeah, beauty of a course though...

It's easily worth $30 I'd say!Zlax45 wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 5:00 pm The game is on sale this week if anyone wants it

I played that one in a local practice round after reading some discussion about it. I did like the environment and the mixture of elements against the backdrop of the surprisingly detailed city landscape. At times it came close to being almost too 'rich' and approached 'fantasy coursdome', but it never quite crossed that line.
Can whoever is setting up the DSP society tournament rounds reply to my post?MERACE wrote: Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:20 pm Any chance we could allow for the option of turning on the meter under the golfer's feet?
As you can see by the unfinished round score for the last tournament I need some help.![]()

Just saw this, set the option to Open for that crappy meter so you are free to use it if you like.MERACE wrote: Sun Feb 14, 2021 3:17 pmCan whoever is setting up the DSP society tournament rounds reply to my post?MERACE wrote: Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:20 pm Any chance we could allow for the option of turning on the meter under the golfer's feet?

Sorry Mark, I've been tuned out for a while and haven't been in here. I've been setting up the Dailies on Monday through Wednesday. And Vader is right, your wish can be easily accomplished by setting the Swing meter setting to "Open". You can choose any of the available options, including none.MERACE wrote: Sun Feb 14, 2021 3:17 pmCan whoever is setting up the DSP society tournament rounds reply to my post?MERACE wrote: Mon Feb 01, 2021 1:20 pm Any chance we could allow for the option of turning on the meter under the golfer's feet?

Nice! Wish they would have had this last week so we could have had the official Bay Hill Club for this weekend, oh well the one that was set wasn't too bad of a course.J_Cauthen wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:39 pm BREAKING NEWS on the PGA TOUR 2K21 front:
60 FPS is now in the game for ALL versions, not just next gen: https://forums.2k.com/showthread.php?43 ... layStation
That plus other stability and performance improvements as well. This comes along with the Season 2 Pass, which reads thusly:
2K and HB Studios today announced a new update for PGA TOUR 2K21 featuring Season 2* of the Clubhouse Pass and a free, brand new course available to all players – The Bay Hill Club & Lodge – available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia and Switch**.
Season 2 of the Clubhouse Pass, an ongoing live service featuring new clubs, new gear and new MyPLAYER customizations for players to earn and unlock, runs from March 4 to June 3, 2021 and includes the potential to unlock a variety of gear, VC and cosmetic items for MyPLAYERs, including:
Three months of new content featuring 75 levels of gear for players to unlock as the season progresses;
New Titleist gear and clubs to hit the links with one of the most iconic brands in the sport;
FootJoy gloves and shoes to take on each PGA TOUR 2K21 course with style and comfort.
The update also includes a free new course: The Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Fla. The location is home to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational, which is one of only five tournaments given invitation-only status by the PGA TOUR. The Bay Hill Club & Lodge was created by legendary designer Dick Wilson and later renovated by Arnold Palmer himself; the course will be available to all PGA TOUR 2K21 players.
I'm about to tee it up for my first round at 60 FPS on my Series X, so i'll be back as regular on the XBox Society here again... it's going to be glorious gentlemen!
I just played the front nine of the the official Bay Hill Club... it's fantastic. I didn't realize how bad the other one actually was until I saw this. Oh, and it plays so much better at 60 FPS also. They've done a stellar job with this update on all counts so far!vader29 wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 3:58 pm Nice! Does that mean only Bay Hill Official is running at 60fps because I didn't really notice a difference playing the weekend tourney.J_Cauthen wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 4:24 pmI just played the front nine of the the official Bay Hill Club... it's fantastic. No, I've played both the official and unofficial versions and I can feel the difference in both. It helps to have been able to play the game at 60 FPS, as measured on my PC to gauge it I guess. It makes a game changing difference for me. Try changing it back to 30 Hz and take a couple of swings... and then set it back to 60 Hz, on the same hole, and see if you don't feel a difference. I did that and it made it even more obvious to me.dbdynsty25 wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 4:53 pmDoes that mean only Bay Hill Official is running at 60fps because I didn't really notice a difference playing the weekend tourney.J_Cauthen wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 4:24 pmI just played the front nine of the the official Bay Hill Club... it's fantastic. Oh, it just dawned on me... the game still defaults to 30 Hz, even though it supports 60 Hz. You have to go into the Settings/Graphics menu to change it from 30 to 60 Hz. It's the top setting in the menu now, and one that wasn't there in the past, naturally. They don't do a good job of making this clear, but I haven't read more than segments of the release notes yet.dbdynsty25 wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 4:53 pm Does that mean only Bay Hill Official is running at 60fps because I didn't really notice a difference playing the weekend tourney.
I went in to see this and wasn’t impressed...until I went into graphics settings and saw “60hz” option. Now we are talking.J_Cauthen wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:39 pm BREAKING NEWS on the PGA TOUR 2K21 front:
