Hide bodies as often as possible. Wait for concealment to fire. Even then, try to ensure no one sees you take one down, because they can triangulate from that alone. This sucker requires extreme patience, but it's so worth it.

They weren't. I enjoyed them at the time, but from what I remember, they were much more linear in design, so you pretty much went through a choke point and took guys out. This one blew the lid off the design, having such large maps.

I loved the original on Xbox, loved V2, liked 3 pretty well, but it was the weak link for me. Just didn't like the locale very much. 4 is by far their best offering to date, however. I wouldn't attempt to go back and play those if I were you. With 4 being your first, the others will be disappointing, I fear.

If you haven't purchased the Deathstorm DLC, it's fantastic. I've never been as thoroughly pleased with an overall package and the quality of the DLC as I have been with SE4 and the accompanying Death Storm DLC. It could have very well been it's own game, the locales are fantastic, varied, with LOTS to do, the elite enemies are brutal, all three parts take a couple hours each to thoroughly finish... Just great stuff. Add in that all can be played co-op (hint, hint) and you've got one of the best games extenders I've ever purchased.
