Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!

Post by Teal »

Happy Ho Ho to one and all! The kids are putting the new XB1 through the paces with Battlefront, and I'm damn impressed. We've got that, BF1, and Batman, but have only played SWBF. Look for me online later tonight!

I've been taking advantage of the double XP weekend here and there. Welcome to the Xbox One generation, if you dig the game, at times we play on weekends right before Dragon hockey with Vader, Pete, Diablo...the game rocks.

Merry Xmas!

Yeah, I haven't stayed up half the night playing a game in years... until last night... Lol. Took the 360 and traded it in this morning. The boys picked up Just Cause 3 and shadow of Mordor, and I picked up the division. Too many games at once... Lol

That's awesome! It can be pretty great to jump into a gen at this point. You have a ridiculous amount of choices.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone. Teal, I've been toiling along in BF1 for the last couple weeks, so it'll be especially good to have you around.

So, the XB1 seemed to be missing something. I finally figured it out. It was missing a 65 inch 4k ultra TV. But it's not missing one any longer... Heeheehee...

It's a Vizio. Not sure of the model. It was on after Christmas sale for 688.00. Great deal, and looks awesome. I've had to remind myself that the console has been out for 3 years and is old hat to many of you...lol. I'm like "where the hell IS everybody???"

Well....you'll discover there's not a lot going on at any point anymore. Not like it was back in the 360 days where you could find some sort of DSP game going most nights. Unless you play hockey--they're always doing that on Fridays, come Hell or high water

It's a great time to jump into this gen, though. So many great games are discounted by now, and going from the 360 to the XB1 on a 4KTV has gotta be a pretty staggering jump.

Boy, you aren't joking! It's like looking at a finger painting and then seeing the Sistene chapel... Lol
