Sure looked that way when he iced the puck leading to the bruins first goal...Then those two penalties for no reason leading to goals two and three on the pp.

Not a good night for him. #1 goat of the night for sure.

#2 goat. Patches. Needs to change his panties after that game.

#3 goat. Therrien. Nice line up. Idiot.

I cant really pin any of the goals on the guy I wanna love but cant...For the Habs to win he has to be their best player. He was not. Price better be monday night.

LETS GO HABS!!!!

One thing we know is that Thornton is a jerk and squirting water during play is bush league. In the heat of a playoffs game, you may do stupid things but do it in the intermission, a stoppage, but not during play. Just a fine this time, but if the roles were reversed no doubt Subban would have been the talk of town for several days.

There were NHL playoffs tonight? On Game of Thrones night? Great scheduling NHL. Will try to find the highlights somewhere.

Took him a while to find his form after the injury absence, but he's looking like getting back go full strength.

It was water for christ's sake. He didn't squirt him with acid! Holy christ let's grab some perspective here. Was it immature, absolutely, should he be fined, most definitely, but let's not make this out to be more than it was. And before we attack Thornton with little knowledge about who he is, this guy does more for the Boston community than any other athlete in the city. (And I have personal experience). Do a quick google search for his foundation if you're so inclined. Calling him a horrible bastard or big piece of sh**, just not factual.

So let's not make assumptions or purely ridiculous comments because he was trying to goad a spineless a**hole who uses his stick like a lance into a tussle.

Too many plays to count. He slew foots, he turtles, he bails out on the boards (see two plays against Lucic alone in game 5), he grabs Marchand and throws him to the ground then stomps his feet like a child on the way to the box, and most importantly the "water incident". I don't know you as a person from Adam, but I'm almost positive that if i threw a drink in your face your reaction would be to get in my face, not cry that it took you 90 seconds to clean the water off your face and run whining to the ref. If that's me and the game is out of hand as it was, I'm in the Bruins bench knowing my teammates are right there to back me up.

Look, I think Subban is a terrific player. I said earlier in this thread I would take 18 of him due to his hockey acumen. But he can be just as much of a "pest" and cheap shot artist as Thornton. He's not one of the most hated players in the game for nothing.

But i digress, I like the hockey talk. I enjoy your passion and our little back and forth, and I respect your feverish hatred for my B's. Let's get back to that. And on that note, it ends tonight!!

Same here.

I enjoy your hatred for Subban and the Habs as well. :P

I acn see the game going either way but ending tonight would be so wrong. A game seven in Boston is what we need!

If spearing into my precious jewels equals the same fine penalty for squirting water into my mug, then you know the league is f*cked up like no other.
