Yeah, this one will sting for awhile. I don't see how McLellan can keep his job as they won't get rid of their veteran core. Is Vancouver calling?
I am hearing that Torts will be toast later today so stay tuned. Not all his fault for the Canucks demise this season, but for the players that we got, his style of coaching did not fit well at all here.
I could have gone to bed 3 hours ago as it was clear a greater force was in play tonight and it was a Habs fan with all the posts and near misses for Boston. But kudos to Montreal for capitalizing when they had the chances. While I think the call on Bartkowski was pretty weak, he was pretty terrible in OT and his turnover earlier should have ended it anyway.
I'll take that Bruins effort in every game though as those bounces can't go against them every night.
Price was big indeed, dude looks like a confident. Keeper since the Olympics. For what it's worth, the team that has won the first game of the 33 previous playoff series between the two Original Six rivals has gone on to win the series on 27 occasions.
Habs need to keep the target on Chara while superpest B.Marchand continue to annoy the heck out of everyone.
After 40 minutes you can sense that frustration is creeping up on the Bruins. Price amazing saves of course have to do a lot with it, Habs chances have been kept mainly from the outside perimeter until Vanek finally scores on the PP. PK Subban is a such a good quarterback with the man advantage. Right now, the cool, calm and collected C. Price is the reason the visitors may just go home with another win.

Bruins better play disciplined in the third.
Absolutely. Habs are just better in mind and body right now.
That push will always come. You can either push back or fold and pray. Habs chose folding for the second time in two games.. Prayer did not work like it did game 1.
Did Bouillon deflect the tying goal? or did it skip up off of the ice.
Looking at the bright side. Got one outa two. Hopefully they forget those third periods before the next game.

So painful to watch em play out the last ten minutes of a game like they are killing off a penalty. In their neat little collapsed defensive box.
Starting to love Price.
LETS GO HABS!!!
Starting? Gee weez Louise, he's been the reason the team is ahead 2-1 and nearly 3-0. The two Olympians for the Habs just shone tonight, what a game by PK, Plekanec was solid in the circle and Weise contributing again. Once Iginla scored, I am sure all Habs fans were thinking here we again, but the D held up strong and controlled their point solidly.
