I like the Ravens down 13-10 at the half. As the fat guy on the Pats DL tired the Ravens started to move the ball.
Favorite stat of the day......2011 wins vs teams with winning records.
Rams 1
Patriots 0
Go Ravens!

Would be fun to watch both Harbaugh's in the SB.

I will never like Baltimore because of how they left Cleveland but that is a intriguing match-up.Rodster wrote:Would be fun to watch both Harbaugh's in the SB.

What a great football game this is! Truly a fantastic and worthy Championship game. 5:00 to go, 23-20. Will we see overtime?
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Unreal.
Dropped game winner then a super FG choke job.
Now the Pats have a win vs a team with a winning record

Grats Pats.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Hmm, why didn't they review the Evans possible TD catch?
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Ravens suck balls. How can that WR not grip the ball in that situation? and the fg kicker you know was gonna miss. choke
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
What an ending. Reminds me of that sure fire kick in the Giants Playoff game where Stockey was on the sideline and thought the Giants were on to advance and the kicker blew it.

I agree. I'm surprised they didn't review it either.wco81 wrote:Hmm, why didn't they review the Evans possible TD catch?
Well, that sucked! The Cheaters are back in the Super Bowl......f**k!
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Thats the rule the NFL put in where they decide the winner and not the players...wco81 wrote:Hmm, why didn't they review the Evans possible TD catch?
Anyway...
That was a nice strip.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
I'm confused, why wasn't that a TD catch by Evans? Isn't the play over after he catches it and gets his feet down in the endzone?
Anyways, great game, happy to see the Ravens go down, especially in excruciating fashion

I dont think they review it because it wasn't a td on the call by the ref. Anyway he dropped the ball before the 2nd foot came down. But come on, the game should have been tied, the kicker f'd up.

If the Fix is in, you'll see the Giants getting all the calls in the next game, so they can have the rematch.

The ref also failed to called holding or pass interference on Sterling Moore on the last incomplete pass.

It looked like he got his right foot, the second foot, down and then the DB punched the ball out.
And on the third-down play, that DB was all over that TE past the 5 yard. He was hanging onto him, which is how he was able to get his arm around.
CBS is just replaying that missed kick over and over again. Looks like there won't be a controversy.

Ya that was definitely holding there. Well the cheaters are in, even with Brady having an off day, they get in. Look, the niners are gonna get the screw job here in the next game.

To me it looked like he got one foot down, and right before the 2nd foot came down he got the ball knocked out. It seemed he held the ball too casually too.

That was one hell of a hellashish kick.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Holy god really? First, Evans has to make a football move and get two feet down with control. He didn't. Second, are people that pathetic that they really are going to point to a fix in this game? Good god almighty.Lancer wrote:sportdan30 wrote:I agree. I'm surprised they didn't review it either.wco81 wrote:Hmm, why didn't they review the Evans possible TD catch?

Anyway, all the credit in the world to Baltimore. They played inspired football and this was a heck of a game. And I would have said the same thing had my Pats lost.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Props to Brady for recognizing his own suckage today in the trophy ceremony.
