Wonder how many f-bombs Haley dropped in the Chiefs locker room after the game.
Great win for the Bills but the Chiefs were absolutely brutal.
Best wishes,
Doug

Well once they are eliminated from the playoffs in a few weeks, maybe the resident Rams fans can quite down in this thread. Only a matter of time.greggsand wrote:Wow, those rams injuries today were brutal.

Nice opening week win for my Birds. Vick amazes me.

I was expecting a Rex Grossman meltdown but he's had a nice game.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Haven't seen the Steelers that bad for awhile.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Washington played really good today.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
I know it was in a losing effort, but 422 yards for a rookie QB, shattering Peyton Manning's rookie opener record. Not too bad, Cam. Speaking of Mannings, what the hell is up with Eli? Looked liked a high school QB today. The Redskin defense was insane, and Grossman surprises. Well done.

Seriously, I'm as shocked and happy as every other Bills' fan. Superb win. Fitz looks like a real NFL QB this year.

Very impressive win by the Bears today. The defense looked very good and the offense played pretty well, too. Nice to see them come out strong in game one of a brutal three-game opening stretch.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Texans looked great, but you could see pretty quickly the impact of Manning's absence with Collins committing 2 early TO's....Texans defense looked much better and their offense moved the ball at will when it mattered without Foster....34-0 at the half? Wow, that was one helluva half for the Texans....they coasted in the 2nd half as the Colts never threatened to make a game of it.

I started him over Bradford in my one fantasy league. Huge move on my part! Great job by the Bills.pk500 wrote:One down, 15 to go. Victories, that is.dougb wrote:Wonder how many f-bombs Haley dropped in the Chiefs locker room after the game.

Man the Cowboys got lucky on that TD. It looks like Cromartie caught the ball along with Miles Austin in the endzone but the refs gave the TD to the Boys.

I'm sponsoring a new campaign-The Nomo Romo Club...think he's worn out his welcome.

It's getting to that point. He looked like a little boy on that last "drive".Teal wrote:I'm sponsoring a new campaign-The Nomo Romo Club...think he's worn out his welcome.

Dez Bryant could barely move on that last drive. Romo never should have thrown that ball toward Revis, but Bryant couldn't even make a break back toward the ball in an attempt to catch or break up Revis' interception.Diablo25 wrote:It's getting to that point. Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
I'm glad many of you got to enjoy your opening games yesterday. I just hope the Steelers aren't as bad as they looked, and that the Ravens aren't as great as they looked.
Looking on the bright side, at least nobody got hurt (sorry Rams fans).

The Dolphins finally brought an offense. I like what I see, Henne is playing well, good decisions. Where the HELL is the defense?!

Never seen a defense that is so unprepared and out of shape. No excuse.Rodster wrote:The Dolphins finally brought an offense. I like what I see, Henne is playing well, good decisions. Where the HELL is the defense?!
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
No excuse is right. It's Mike Nolan's defense, they should be playing much better than this. It's freakin painful to watch.

Defense is AWESOME. 511 yards given up in the air? LOL...thank god I've got my Hurricanes and Suns this fall and winter...oh wait.

Don't feel bad db. It's gonna be a weekly occurrence for opponents of the Pats. Too many weapons and the guy slingin' it is simply the best there is.
Now, on the other side, Henne did some solid shredding of his own so the defense was awful. Hoodie has some things to work on.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Yeah...I'm not sure if I should be happy that Henne looked good, or just surprised the Pats looked so bad. Either way the Pats knew they could score at will, so sometimes that has an adverse affect on your D's mindset. Plus, the Pats did a fairly good job of shutting Miami down in the red zone.RallyMonkey wrote:Don't feel bad db. It's gonna be a weekly occurrence for opponents of the Pats. The Dolphins just looked out of shape...which is shocking to me.
