Dead Wednesday! L4D tonight.
I'm locking up the wife and kids early tonight, gents, arming them with a shotgun in case the chaos makes it upstairs.
L4D tonight, starting at 10:15 eastern. Small turnout we go co-op. (Probably Death Toll) 5+ we do versus.
Who's in?

I have it for both Terry as I have 2 different sets of friends and think this thing will have legs.
Also I'm in as well. If we get enough we can always do two games of co-op. Can't we use that new NXE$ Party thing to gather first?

Oh I know the L4D interface is fine. I just meant the new dash has a party option where the avatars just hang out outside of a game and then you can take everyone from game to game.
I haven't used it yet but If I understand correctly it is like the party system in Halo or Gears in that it's a gathering place and you can all then launch into the game of choice.

Here was my favorite exchange last night with Teal when starting the last level of No mercy for the 2nd time.
"Hey Teal there are 2 pipe bombs over here"
"Lets save them for the roof"
"Ok"
Mob rushes us in the hallway, I see a pipe bomb go flying.
"Who threw that?" I was asking which AI person threw the pipe bomb.
Teal replies "Me, I panicked"
LOL
I wish this game had 4 player split screen it would be an awesome party game with a few beverages of choice.

The banter from the survivors is definitely amusing, too. They make comments about each other, the environment, etc.
And the expletives are well-used too. I was the last survivor on the Hospital rooftops one round as Louis, and I finally got polished off by a tank. I was down, and as the giant fist was raised above me for the final blow, Lou's round-ending last word was a simple but yet profound 's***' that everyone quite enjoyed.

Are you sure it doesn't? I know the demo had 2-player split-screen (didn't try 4) so you never know.Danimal wrote:I wish this game had 4 player split screen it would be an awesome party game with a few beverages of choice.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

Only 2. But I hate split screen, so I won't ever see it.ScoopBrady wrote:Are you sure it doesn't? I know the demo had 2-player split-screen (didn't try 4) so you never know.Danimal wrote:I wish this game had 4 player split screen it would be an awesome party game with a few beverages of choice.

Yeah, that was funny-I was almost asking myself what the hell I was doing as I threw it.Danimal wrote:Here was my favorite exchange last night with Teal when starting the last level of No mercy for the 2nd time.
