When are you guys going to be in Indy? As a new father I am quite busy but Indy is not so far from Chicago and you never know. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_wink.gif">

Boys:
 
 We stay at an apartment in Indy. We´d welcome you to come visit, but I´ll warn you: Despite urban legend, there´s not much play time at all.
 
 We leave for the track every morning -- weekends included -- by 7:30 a.m. and don´t return most nights until between 8 and 9 p.m. About two to three hours of reading, sports TV or gaming, and then it´s back to sleep to climb on the work treadmill again the next morning.
 
 When we´re at the track, we´re grinding all the time. Seriously. I know people roll their eyes, but it´s true. So I could probably get you into the track, but I doubt I could be a tour guide for much more than 15 minutes or so.
 
 Again, I certainly don´t want to dissuade you from coming. But I just wanted to spell out the reality of our work days in Indy.
 
 E-mail me at pkcny@yahoo.com if you still want to join us for a night or two! You´re welcome to crash on the apartment floor. It´s a one-bedroom that the Speedway hooks us up with for the month, and I get the bed. Neck gets the couch.

 Actually I was just raggin´ on you guys but I think an annual DS get-together would be an awesome idea. If things are too busy for you guys at Indy we could possibly arrange something elsewhere at another time. Just an idea. My ex used to do that with one of the forums she was a regular at and they always had a blast.
 
 Of course Indy is probably a central point for most of us (I´m 400 miles straight south on I-65) so that may be the best solution. I´m just throwing this idea out there. If it´s a bad idea, feel free to ignore it.

 Not a bad idea at all. Just wanted to make it clear that we don´t have much play time.
 
 Most people know that, but I just wanted to clarify. I can´t tell you how many people, including close friends and family, ask me: "So what do you do during the races? Sit there and watch them?"

Judging from last year, I have a little more "free time" at the track than PK does. So after PK´s 15 minutes, I could hang out for another 15. Of course, by saying that I will be worked more than ever. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">
 
 Of course with the number of gaming invites PK has sent out, I think there will be a nightly line for video games. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif"> What´s the line at now? 10-12 guys who have RSVPed?
