Circuit City deals (GoW, SC:DA)

Post by pk500 »

Gears of War and Splinter Cell: Double Agent are $44.99 each this week at Circuit City. Pretty good deal for the nine 360 owners in America who don't have GoW ...

Take care,
PK

I don't have it either...never will either. Rented it for about a night and gave up on it. May rent it again after I finish the single player of Rainbow Six...but that's about it. Too many shooters right now.

I got mine yesterday from Gamestop (traded in SC and NHL07), so that leaves two.

Seriously, I was just thinking that when I was at CC tonight. This game has that old school feel that PK probably would love it.

I'll boost the total back up to 3 considering I don't have it either.

Don't have GOW, and no plans to pick it up. Maybe in a few months if the price drops, but there are other shooters on my radar at the moment.

I bought Madden from Circuit City on Tuesday afternoon. It came with $25 off at Fansedge.com. I ordered two shirts and received them both today! The selection is somewhat limited and it's kind of annoying that you have to spend $25 prior to shipping, but they have a flat UPS ground rate of $4.99 for the order. I ended up getting a nice Army long sleeve T shirt and a Pens CCM tee for under $20 shipped. So when it was all said and done the value of the gift was probably $15. Not bad. It's worth a look if you haven't purchased Madden yet and can find some things at the site.

Also, all versions of Madden are 10% off at Costco.

Toys R Us has a great deal, buy Madden 08 and get another game (supposedly equal or lesser value) for 50% off. But people are buying Guitar Hero 2 bundle ($90) and it still rang up 50% off. I am thinking of doing that and just sell off the Madden 08.

Make it ten. I don't and never have played nor understood first person shooters. All games that involve guns(other than RE and GTA) just leave me cold. But then again everything isn't for everybody.

Costco sells all their games at a markdown, generally a little less than 10%.

Yup, saw the same thing over at CAG and tried it...got Madden and GH for 99.95 total along with a 20% coupon. They were kind of confused about it at first, thinking that GH was an older version for some reason.
