My buddy who ran our first league with us has played this game non-stop since, even paid for the upgrade. He says there are a ton of new features, and would like to hop in our league again if we don't mind (he has 4 running at the moment!)
My choice would be for the LeMans series. I loves me some endurance racing!

I've also paid for the upgrades, but it doesn't really give you any advantage other than being able to see your teammates ranges from testing. That, and you can play a bunch more games.
LeMans is pretty wild, the 12 hours of Sebring is 346 laps, and you have to change drivers. Unfortunately, there are no private games available because of the amount of server space each game takes up.
I'd recommend not doing F107, at least right now, as the Ferrari's are way better than the rest. I'd say 06 is the best of the F1's available.

That's pretty much it. I got Kool Tools a few months back since I've been in at least one game ever since we last ran BATracer, and my results are worse with it than without it. You can see your team mate's setup, if they're prepared to let you, and it's easier to share your data, and that's pretty much it.
I'm in one of the first F1 2007 games in a Spyker, and the playing field is nowhere near as level as it was with the 2006 carset - if we go the F1 route, the 2006 set is the one I'd suggest using.

I thought I'd give this a little bump. I've been screwing around in the Champcar series, and I think it would an excellent fit for this group. You can have 1 to 3 car teams, and the cars are pretty much identical. There's also a pretty good mixture of ovals and road courses. A lot of passing on the ovals, and quite a bit of collisions.
Anyone game?

Sorry, Grant. Can't do it. Plus the series doesn't interest me, so a fantasy league based on it won't interest me, either.
Take care,
